I've seen other rewards cards that were reluctant to give details on the reward values. Its does seem to be an "industry standard".
That said, I'm sure that as soon as folks actually sign-up, the details will be readily available on this and other websites. So C.Ann and the others who are wary will have a chance to review before making a decision.
I agree with most others though, that the reward values should be at least in the same ballpark as other rewards cards. If they aren't, cardholders will lose interest very quickly and will just use the rewards cards they already have.
Either way, as long as there is no annual fee, the risk is non-existent. If you get the card and don't like the deal, you can turn around and cancel it, or just not use it.
