Ughh, I was so excited until I read the price... $5.95 per 500g plus $24.95 a parcel!

I've used Hop Shop Go before and I think the pricing is similar. Not a cheap way to go!

Yes the hype led to an immediate letdown when the details were revealed.

This service is actually an inferior copy of existing services at a high price. If they want to copy something, copy the companies that manage to ship here for free or a reasonable price.

Just another way for Australia Post to rip off people.

It certainly isn't a CHEAPER option. What it DOES offer, is a way for Australians to purchase from online retailers who normally don't ship to Australia.

Having said that, as DVCAustralia mentions, this is already a service that you can find elsewhere. I guess if you're more comfortable with the Australia Post name, you're more likely to use the service.
