The NPBC refurbishment is running a little behind schedule, but one wing of the hotel is now complete and guests are now staying in the new refurbished rooms in that wing. Work has now started on the other wing of the hotel.

The hotels swimming pool, wellness centre, sauna and steam room are scheduled to re-open on 5th December 2014.

The main part of the hotel will also see some major changes in 2015 with the 1st floor which houses the hotels bars, shop and reception area being totally remodelled. The hotels shop has already closed.

Later in 2015 will see the refurbishment of the Admirals floor rooms. These are being converted to Compass Club Rooms and a new Compass Club lounge will be built. The benefits of the Compass Club will be the same as the Golden Forest rooms at the Sequoia Lodge hotel.

The full refurbishment is scheduled to be completed by January 2016.
