I had to share this, since I'm so happy with the way it came out. I was asked to make a small scrapbook for a set of birthday pictures. They boy is three and it was a construction themed b-day. I'm very proud of myself.

Very nice, Patchchild. What little boy won't love having his pictures in that album.

FYI, there is a FHWA (Federal Highway) font that the US DOT uses for their signs. I'll see if I can find the link for when Owen starts having construction equipment albums.:goodvibes

Wonderful work! DS1 is having a truck bday next month. Who is the manufacturer of the stickers?

The stickers were Frances Meyers and Mrs. Grossmans. The spine is called a piano hinge. It's easier than it looks, and lots of fun. I found the directions at the link below. There are a bunch of fun projects there, with great, easy to follow directions.

Very cute!!

Did you just cut the pointy ends off the bamboo skewers? The lady in the video just left hers pointy - she obviously doesn't have kids!

My childless aunt once gave my girls chopsticks (who knows why). I had to confiscate them about 5 minutes out of her driveway or someone would have lost an eye. I called her up and said, "You gave them weapons!"

You bet I trimmed mine. The one other thing I've done before is add beads to the end of the skewers, to make them rounded.
