Happy Birthday Sarah!!!
Happy Birthday Sarah!!!

I didn't like BFing either. I spent my whole six-week maternity leave with DD trying to get her to nurse, and just when we'd established that relationship I had to go back to work. It was pointless. I pumped in the ladies' room for a few weeks and then gave up because I was miserable. I'm not sure yet when I'll do this time around. If I have to go back to work I don't want to waste my maternity leave trying to establish a breastfeeding relationship - I want to spend that time enjoying my new baby. I'm not pumping at work again.Anyhow.. I know Im odd, and it is supposed to be a wonderful bonding experiance and all.. But I dont like breastfeeding. I dont know why, Im guessing because it takes so long. I have SO much to do, and I am having a hard time sitting and taking such a long time feeding just one baby. So I am pumping 5 or 6 times a day. I dont pump NEAR enough for both babies.. I am getting about 5-8 ounces every time I pump, and the babies are eating at least 4 ounces every two to three hours. I have it worked out to where they have breast milk during the day, and formula at night. My lactation consultant told me to check into going on Reglan to up my supply, but I am just going to keep up with what i am doing for now.

Thanks!! You're so sweet! It was raining this morning and now its snowing, but I'm stuck at work so who cares right?
DH is on spring break this week, so I took Wednesday off and we're going to Ikea. yay!
I have had a lot of pain in my lower regions--I have no idea what it's called. My upper thigh/pelvis area feels like I did a whole bunch of squats if I sit in the same position too long. It seems to have gotten a bit better lately though.

Thats a great gift.Ohhh.. Ikea, yay! I'm going with my friend on Friday.. unfortunately, it's a roadtrip for us... so to make it more "worth it" we're detouring to a chocolate factory in Cannonsburg, PA. Yum.Try not to get lost in the store.. I know it's easy..
Snow isn't bad if you're nice and warm on the inside and just watching it.. and it goes away before you have to leave...
Enjoy your massage, too!Thats a great gift.

I'll try to catch up soon...just a quick update
Ellasen Victoria was born on April 4th at 7:09pm.

It's a roadtrip for us too. 2.5 hours each way... We're going to the Pittsburg store. Hopefully we can fit everything into our SUV--I'm thinking crib, dresser and maybe rocking chair...
ETA, Wait you're going to the Pittsburg store too right? I thought about going Friday, but figured it might be more crazy since people will be off work/out of school. We could have met up!
) but I don't need anything big. I just LOVE that store. The little stuff is just as awesome as the big! I'm getting excited.. Friday, Ikea.. Saturday, baby shower!

Love the spelling for Ellasen. Very creative! The one out by the airport? Yep! My friend and I aren't buying big things (Though we did think about waiting to leave til after DH went to work and then swapping out my car for his truck so he'd never know until it was too late) but I don't need anything big. Bummer you all changed your minds, we could have met up. Let me know if you find anything great for baby, I might have to re-instate operation "Swipe DH's truck"..
Lemme tell you, stop HERE: http://sarriscandies.com/
Do you take 79? You won't regret it. It's delicious! My brother got me addicted while he was at WVU.
It's the most delicious and wonderful chocolate you will ever eat in your entire life.
It will not disappoint..
LOL...thanks! Those wishes worked well, and quick within that post too!!I'm sorry you're feeling so rotten and I will be sending many, MANY contraction wishes to you today in hopes that baby will come out soon for you![]()
Aww...too cute...I wanna see if I can find time to take advantage of Easter Bunny pics. I'm excited to see DS (15 months) with Mickey next month...I"m guessin baby won't care one way or the other...lolWell emily is now 5 months old and babbling and screeching like an eagle.I can't believe that 5 months ago I was posting about her being born here and now she halfway to a year old. She had her first picture with the easter bunny yesterday

she did so well with santa and bunny I have a feeling she will do well with mickey and all at disney![]()
The baby won't be as big as you expect....I wouldn't get over a 3-6..Those with kids already.. question..
I know I want to get pictures taken at a studio (Sears or whatever, nothing too crazy) and am hoping to take advantage of after Easter sales to get something *nice* for pictures that won't be too expensive.. since he probably won't wear it ever again.
Anyway-- when are they more alert and active and the best time to plan on taking these pictures? I know to buy big (especially since this is a big baby) but don't know to buy 3-6...6-9...

Congrats!
Cathy and I went to see her doc this morning. They did an ultrasound and recalculated the due date to be November 26th.
I'll try to post an ultrasound pic later.

Heres a pic of my DS seeing his baby sister for the first time
Anyways...brief synopsis..
11am on Saturday, my water broke as I was bringing in a bag from the car. Thought that was it... turns out there are several big gushes... LOL. My water never broke like that with any of the others. About noon I say we'll head towards the hospital way (since we live an hr away) but I'm not going in because without contractions I"m afraid they'll send me home again. Some minor contractions started in the car about 12:30pm, but nothin major so we hit Wendys drive-thru. As DBF talks me into going into the hospital about 1:30, I'm upset because I look like I peed my pants. Nice
They admit me and say I"m not going home since my water broke. Checked me, still only dialated to 2. They decide to give me pitocin around 3pm. By 4pm the contractions are ROUGH and I ask for a drug prior to epidural. I'm dialated to 3. Within 1 hr, I'm screamin for the epidural, they give it to me while dialated to 3.5 then I'm at 9.5 within 45minutes. The epidural numbed me for birth...but NOT for contractions. That wasn't the outcome I was hoping for... LOL
She was born at 7:09 pm. Worth it all but I wasn't a happy camper
I must say, I feel much better already and breastfeeding is going good![]()
I've heard of them before...maybe they were on the Food Network? I have no idea where it is really--there's only one in Pittsburg right?
