Newest "Moms to Be" Thread

I was doing homework before work.. but other than that, doing great.

DH is too good to me, he brought in my textbook and my laptop and put it next to me in bed. He knew I was exhausted and didn't go in until noon today.
Love that boy!

How are you??

Is anyone else having the famous food cravings? For some reason, I crave Eggo waffles about once a week and I never even liked them before. I also crave orange juice allllll the time. I figure my body must need the vitamin C. It's also something I didn't drink a lot of before because it usually hurts my mouth.

I'm doing well today. No sickness, no heartburn. We'll see how long it lasts!

Not yet, but DH and my dad keep asking me about them. lol My dad said he's willing to go out at 3 in the morning for me (he lives like 2 minutes away).:thumbsup2

OJ and doritos are my cravings.... w/my 1st it was oj and oreo's...2nd oj and doritos, 3rd....same as 2nd.

My 2nd had tubes put in his ears today, I couldn't go into the room w/him when they put him out because of being preggo...really didn't even think to ask, until they asked me. It kinda stunk, I could have had hubby bring him and I could have stayed home w/my oldest...but then again, he wants me when he doesn't feel well, so it probably would have been worse in post op if I wasn't there.

Poor guy (and mom too!). I remember when my brother had tubes put in. He seemed to whine forever (from the perspective of a meany older sister).

:teeth: I hope its twins cuz I really don't want to do this again. I'm such a wussy little baby! And that's giving babies a bad rap! :thumbsup2

I saw that Zantac is on the A ok list, but seriously? Okay to take every day?

I took it everday. I had horrible heartburn with DS. Dr told me I could take that everyday and that I also could take prilosec with it twice a day if needed but I only took the zantac. DS ended up having a ton of hair so I am sure that is where the heartburn came from. Course he has my problem with heartburn. He has baby acid reflux....poor guy has it bad but hopefully it should correct itself by 3 mos. Hopefully we only have about a month to go.

Did you have it really early like me? I'm only 5 weeks.

I had it really early, then it stopped. Now, in my 3rd trimester, I have it again.

Ooooooh...fun times! ;) Everyone keeps telling me to avoid eating this or that, but I haven't been eating any of the stuff that usually causes it. So annoying!

I had acid reflux before I was pregnant and it's been REALLY bad now mixed with heartburn.

She gave me the A-OK to take Ranatadine (sp??) which I believe is the generic of Zantac 75.

I only take it on nights I can really feel it coming and it's given me SO much relief!! :thumbsup2

Peanut butter gives me heartburn almost instantaneously! Glad I don't really crave it so much!

Meat has been my biggest downfall. I could eat meat from morning 'til night. :thumbsup2 I was craving bologna for the longest time (too bad the thought of fried bologna wasn't appealing at all).

Chocolate is my friend.:flower3:

I am opposite you! I can't handle chocolate- I get heartburn within minutes...I eat peanut butter everyday!

The chocolate DOES give me heartburn, but I can't help it! I've honestly eaten more chocolate during my last three pregnancies than I have in my entire life!:lmao:

The heartburn's been better, but now the morning sickness has been worse. Probably because on the weekend I'm not so good at eating lots of little meals.

We told our best friends. They've been TTC for a while, though not super seriously. I think they were a little freaked out. They don't want to lose us as friends. Hopefully, she'll get preggers soon and it'll be fine.

i had heartburn just even drinking water

My craving for Strawberry Cheesecake got me in trouble today..

I stopped at Kroger to get one of those Jello No-Bake kits to make one and someone hit my car in the parking lot!!

I spent my afternoon standing in the rain waiting on the police. Lame!!
