Alright, apparently there is a test that they do for movement and he was asleep... so she said she didn't want to do it and us get charged, knowing he would fail it and they would probably want it redone. (She tried but couldn't get him woken up and the ER needed her to do an ultrasound so ... *sigh*)
She also said he was positioned like a frog, with his feet up by his head!

So she checked his measurements (femur, head, etc) and his heartbeat (140) and found all 4 chambers of his heart, the cord (and the three parts of the cord) and said his spine looked beautiful. He did move a little and she said she would put that into her report as well, that she saw movement.

He's weighing in at 2lbs10ounces and for a due date of May 31st... but I want to leave it at June 3rd, at least until I talk to my OB.

He has VERY chubby cheeks. Look at how much he's grown!


All in all, she said that everything looked GOOD (except that he is breech)...
But I might have to go back for another ultrasound to do the movement test.

We shall see.
Glad I got to see him again. (He's still a he, phew!) and hope my OB agrees that everything is good.

Just wanted to provide an update -- my c-section is scheduled for Monday, March 16th --

Baby is projected at 7 lbs, 9 oz as of today. I am not dilated at all so it seems the c-section (which is 5 days early from due date) will be the way I go.

Ohhh, thats awesome! I can't wait to see pictures!!!

I hope all goes well tomorrow! It sounds like you will be going for a Biophysical Profile (BPP) ultrasound which measures movement and the amniotic fluids. I have been going for them twice a week. I do have to admit, it is nice to see the baby this often.
I am going in this Saturday for a section...

That might be the test she was talking about? I don't know, he was asleep and she couldn't get him to cooperate. I would love to see him that often but I think the charges would kill us.

Can't wait to see pictures of your little one, too! Congrats!! You must be soo excited!!

And Patsy, good luck at the u/s today, hopefully everything is just fine. Maybe he's just really sleepy, 'cause he's busy growin'!

Hi girls. Had my u/s yesterday. Natalie is now 1.7 pounds and I am at 24 weeks. We got the cutest picture of her yawning. He wants to see me for another u/s when I am 34 weeks. Everything looks good.

We leave later today for Disney!!!! I will see if I can use my husbands computer to check in every once in a while.

I had another ultrasound yesterday and the Dr. has pushed my due date back to July 8th. I had an u/s 5 weeks ago and the baby measured 13 days behind the dates I gave (I know my dates!). Anyone else had the date moved due to the ultrasound?

Yep, moved up. First ultrasound moved me from 6-9 to 6-3. This one would jump me to 5-31, but I'm going to wait to talk to my OB Thursday before I start getting 'May' in my head.
It just doesn't sound right-- May instead of June!

OK, I am having a baby in about 10 hours so my mind is elsewhere!

I just wanted to tell Patsy how great Lucas looks and to also say that when I go for these BPP ultrasounds, they tell me to eat something before I go. The baby tends to be awake more when I eat.

I am really going to miss my furbabies when I am in the hospital. They are really loving all the baby stuff. We got the bassinet moved to our room today and this is what happened:

FormrCastMbr, Lauren has her C-section today. Her appointment got pushed back a few hours because the hospital was behind schedule. Good luck today my friend, I wish you and the beautiful boy well. Congrats to you, Tom and A on your new addition!

I am having a hard time with the whole unknown of when she is going to come! I know it comes with the territory, but I am such a planner, this is killing me! At my appt on Wednesday, my midwife told me that I didn't look "miserable enough yet" so she would see me next week! That wasn't very nice to hear!

DH and I are going to the mall today to WALK- Let's see if we can get this little girl to come out this weekend. I have been using prime rose oil since last Saturday- it is supposed to help soften the cervix. We'll see if that works.

If she doesn't come this weekend, I am hoping maybe Wednesday (which is my due date) but also a FULL moon! Whatever works!

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend! We are due to have 60 degree weather today. That is so unseasonable in the NE at this time of year!

According to my dr, they usually don't change due dates after the first trimester based on sonograms-each of my 3 sonograms has shown a different date. My dr has stuck with the one at 9 wks which was dated EXACTLY what I got from checking online-May 19. The 19 wk sonogram showed May 17, and the 23 wk sonogram (that I got when I fell) was May 21.

I'm still hoping for May 19, since that was my grandfather's birthday, and his oldest brother's birthday (they were exactly 3 yrs apart). I loved them both so much. And ds11 has my grandmother's birthday (she loves her themed parties every year! How many 88 yr olds get to have an Indiana Jones birthday lmao: ***They also share Harrison Ford's birthday, which is so neat since ds11 LOVES him***) And dd9 was born on my dh's great-grandmother's birthday.

Indeed we should. Since Staley went silent, I'm thinking she must have gone into labor, maybe she'll get home soon. And then there is FormrCastMbr going in today. Good luck to all! March will be busy.

And talk about unseasonably warm weather! At about 10 AM it must have been 70 degrees already, this after having school cancelled on Monday due to 8+ inches of snow! March is crazy!

I'm scheduled to have my master bedroom & bathroom and 2 walk-in closets painted starting Monday. Lots of work this weekend cleaning up & clearing stuff out for the painter.

Sorry about that. I love my mil, but she is crazy as they come. Dh really can't stand her (she left when he was 6 and his brother was 2), so without me there wouldn't be any relationship at all (she decided to get involved when I got pregnant with ds11). At least I'll never have to worry about taking her in-dh would never allow it! You really don't need any stress right now, though, so I hope she is on her best behavior!

Oh, I hope all the walking works for you! I'm happy that we have a date for a c-section, but I still think she may come early...but then doc told me I'm not dilated at all, so I guess not.

I never heard from my OB after my diabetic scan. She told me they would only call if I failed and I should have heard within 48 hours. The test was last Tuesday.

I am doing the happy dance that I do not think I have to do the 3 hour test.
