Ok, so I guess we haven't officially dropped the morning nap like I had previously posted. She has still been napping sporadically, like she is right now. Yesterday we were out doing an errand around this time and I knew that we should probably have stayed home and napped instead, she was a little fussy and did not want to be sitting in her stroller which is unusual for her. So if it's a nap she wants, it is a nap she will get

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Weather was nice yesterday, but it looks like rain (again!) today.

We're home! We had the best time and can't wait to go back, which is good since we've already booked our next trip! Brynn did even better than we thought she would which was great. I'll post a few pictures when we're a little more settled.... Hope everyone is doing well!

Wow, its been quiet on here. We have been busy here, Annabelle turned 1, May 16! She had her 12 mon check up and I knew she hadnt been feeling the greatest but to my surprise she had an ear infection, we had her party Saturday after her birthday, we did a Minnie Mouse 1 party and it was so fun to see her reactions. We will be taking her on tuesday to get her 1 year old pictures taken and I will posted pics then of her party because I didnt get a good one in her party outfit and she is wearing it for the pictures. I hope everyone is doing well!!!!

Brynn had her first haircut at the Magic Kingdom... I highly recommend it!

We had an early 1st birthday party dinner at Chef Mickey's...... Brynn had a Mickey birthday cake!

And of course she had some! She loved the cake.... Not such a fan of the icing.

And of course we met Mickey and Minnie (a few times)!

We actually ended up taking over 900 pictures and filling up 3 autograph books... I was amazed at how happy she was to meet the characters and how much my husband and I enjoyed getting the autographs with her...... I can't wait to see what she is like when we go in December!

Well, today I am feeling OLD! My stepdaughter is graduating from high school today. She had just turned 5 and just started kindergarten when DH and I started dating! I am soooo proud of her. She has been living with us since near the end of her sophomore year, and had to claw and scratch her way to get to this point, but she did it!!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone, I am a new mother to our 2 month old baby girl Lia. After 2 miscarriages, she is our little angel. Here she is at 2 weeks old

And at exactly 2 months old

We were supposed to go to Disney last November when I was 20 weeks pregnant, but had complications and we had to cancel our trip 3 weeks out. So we are going this November and wanted to take our little princess, but my mother in-law really wants to babysit. So we will leave her home this trip and will return when she will be around 18 months.

Lauren~ Your pics of Brynn in Disney World are adorable! I love the first one of the haircut!! I can't wait until our Dec2012 trip, we are gonna get Annabelle's haircut there. Did they do a great job? I heard they are wonderful but I would love to hear what you thought.

DH and I got a membership to the zoo so we can take Carys. We took her for the first time last week and she loved looking at the animals. I'm taking her tomorrow and meeting up with a friend from the storytime that we go to on Mondays. She has a daughter a month older than Carys so they get along well and it's fun to see them interact. so cute!

What kind of activities do you do with your kids? Do you have them signed up for any classes? swimming, gymboree, etc... just curious

Brynn's a busy girl. I have her signed up for 2 Gymboree classes, one on Monday and one on Thursday. She has a music class on Tuesday and swim classes on Thursday. We have a standing play date that rotates between homes on Wednesday and on Friday we have a mommy/baby outing trip with another playgroup.
We started with just one class a week, and slowly started layering more in. I thought it might be overwhelming for her, but she really loves going out. I'm really trying to make sure that we get out a lot this summer because I know that when winter comes back we won't go out as much.

On a completely different note, Brynn is going to be a big sister! I found I was pregnant the day after Brynn's first birthday! We're very excited, but really shocked because it took us 10 months to get pregnant with Brynn, but this happened FAST!

The woman who cut Brynn's hair did an amazing job! I was really impressed with what a nice job they did.... They make a big production out of cutting their hair and put the kids at ease. For $18 you get a haircut, certificate, and first haircut ears... I would have paid $20 for the haircut alone here, so we were really happy! I highly recommend it!

Please everyone pray for my best friends newborn son, he was just born 12:44am weighing 5 lbs 15 oz and was taken shortly after birth for respiratory problems. She was at 37 weeks when she delivered. She was scared of this happening before she even had him. It is her second child and she had a very hard pregancy with him. His name is Camden. Thank you guys so much, I just dont know what to do for her other then respect her wishes and my heart is breaking for her because even without her telling me, I know this is killing her inside.

My best friend son Camden is now in the Nicu after he took a turn for the worse this morning.
Quick Update 6/16 9:37: He isn't doing well. He is still on the antibiotic, oxygen and feeding tube. However, his breathing rate is still not where they want it to be so he can't tolerate any feedings.

Life seems to be getting busier and busier. Daniel is now 9 months old. We have his check up this afternoon to find out how much he's grown and probably have more shots. He's now crawling and cruising and really wanting to talk on his own, but falling lots. DD is on summer break and trying to keep her busy and off the tv has been challenging.

One a great note only 120 days till Disney!

Oh man, summer is here, and life is crazy!! Elliott has become attached to his blankies. Doesn't matter which one, but he is always dragging one around the house. He looks like Linus from Charlie Brown. We have soccer tournament all weekend this weekend, so he gets fawned all over by everyone. He loves the attention!!! Last year all the little sister on the team used to swarm around him. We refered to them as his harem!
