"Newest" Moms Hangout... take 2!

Well, the snow came. For about the 3rd time in the last month and a half, we had thundersnow! Crazy to see lightning and hear thunder during a snow storm. We got about 10 inches of snow (and almost 93 inches for the season!). Fortunately, the extended forcast shows highs in the 70s by next Tuesday. Crazy Wisconsin weather! Older DS was supposed to have soccer practice tonight, which was cancelled, since I don't think snow pants and boots would work that well. He is supposed to have his first league game next Thursday, but the city where we are playing said they don't think their fields will be ready!

Bummer on the thunder snow :( Hope the warm weather reaches you soon

Happy early Easter everyone!!! This will be Natalie's first year actually hunting for Easter eggs. Last year she was only 9 months old so she didn't quite get it. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend:banana:

:goodvibes Hope she has fun!!

We had thundersnow a couple months again, it was so crazy. :scared1:

Hope everyone is doing well!! Cant wait to see more pictures of the babies in their Easter outfits.:goodvibes

We had a great Easter here as well. Natalie LOVED hunting for Easter eggs. We went outside this afternoon as was still looking for them. I guess I'll be hiding those darn eggs all summer.:goodvibes

Haven't posted in a while. The weather around here has been crazy. We have had sooo much rain!!!! blah. Unfortunately we had to put one of our cats to sleep and that has been really hard. She was my first baby and I miss her :goodvibes We still have her brother and at first he was super sad and looking all around for her but he's adjusted well.

We had a good Easter. Carys got bubbles in her Easter basket and loved them. She loved playing with the plastic eggs too and I've kept a few out and she is still playing with them every day  I loved her dress and wish she could get some more wear out of it! My mom said that I should put her in it to go to the grocery store

Carys doesn't mess with all those DVDs?! Impressive. Scarlett is all over stuff like that! She's adorable and I would definitely put her in the dress just for the sake of it.

Nice to hear that everyone had a nice Easter. We have a busy Easter weekend since we had Brynn baptised that Saturday during the Easter vigil. She did great considering it was an hour and a half long servie that didn't even begin until 8:00 pm. It was great but also very overwhelming to have all of our families visiting over Easter weekend. Here are a few pictures if anyone cares to take a peak.....

When we had Brynn's 9 month photos taken we took the opportunity to have Easter pictures taken too.

Saturday afternoon we took our families to lunch on the top of the John Hancock Building. Brynn enjoyed the view from the 95th floor.

DH built the entertainment center and made it with a barrier behind each shelf so that she can't push the dvd's through (if that makes sense) so when she pushes on them, they don't go anywhere and she gives up. Basically she just wants the books on the bottom shelf. as you can see in the picture. :rotfl:

LaurenLC - Brynn looks so cute in the bunny ears!!!!

Oh, Scarlett doesn't push on them, she pulls them all out and opens them! She does the same with my shelf of cookbooks in the kitchen, pulls them down and occasionally tears out pages.

Hey Ladies I just wanted to let you know I finally started a PTR. Come check it out.

I'm starting to get really excited about our trip. I booked airfare this week, so there is no going back now. No changing dates. Yay! I can't wait to take Danny to Disney. I'm working away on my plans and getting all the details squared away.

Happy Mother's Day! A little early, but I wanted to say it nonetheless. Hope you all have wonderful days!

Isabel LOVES to pull down the DVDs too - thankfully she doesn't open them!

Happy Mothers Day!

Adi - She didn't open the DVDs till her older siblings showed her how....

Happy Mother's Day just a little bit late to all you mommies! We spent Mother's Day as we have for the last three years....sitting a soccer tournament (we do the same thing for Father's Day!). Fortunately, DS's team won the U11 Championship game, so it was a great present to receive. Also, the coaches wives went out and bought carnations before the championship game, which the boys presented to us after the game. Have a great pics of the whole team with their moms behind them as well.

Weather has finally become nice here. Now we just need to keep Elliott out of all the flowers we planted this weekend!

Forgot to mention, took Elliott to our local amusement park on Sunday to visit "Ni-ni" (that is what he calls his sister, she just got a job there). It was busy, but I bought tickets for us to ride the merry-go-round. He was a little nervous at first, but soon he was totally belly laughing. It was awesome!

We leave tomorrow morning for Brynn's first trip to Diseny World! I'm so excited and can't wait to experience everything with her for the first time!

Have fun! We leave on tomorrow afternoon. :cool1:

HAVE FUN!!!! :goodvibes Can't wait to hear all about your trips!!! We aren't taking Carys until her 4th birthday so I have 3 more years to go. Already planning that trip in my head though :goodvibes

I'm going on my own (well, with 2 friends) for a quick weekend for the half marathon - my first one, their second. I'm really nervous about it, but really excited. I've started my training and hoping to get the rest of this baby weight off and get toned. I was wrestling with the idea for a while about whether to go or not, about whether I would be a bad mom for leaving Carys to go down and do this. Finally I decided that it would be ok to go, and that DH would be ok to watch her for 3 days. I hope

Carys officially dropped her morning nap which makes for a really long morning! :lmao: My goodness! The weather is beautiful today so we took our walk this morning instead of the afternoon which we have been doing.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!!!!! :goodvibes

I hear you Hulagirl! Scarlett generally takes 1 nap from 10:30-1, and weekdays it's fine, cause we take the big kids to school at 8, so it breaks up the day, but on weekends I feel like she's up forever before that nap!

We are on our way home from our Orlando Vacation and we were there mainly to visit DH grandparents and family but we did take Tuesday to go to Magic Kingdom, Annabelle LOVED meeting Mickey and Minnie. She surprised us by walking straight to Minnie and giving her a big hug, we really thought she would go for Mickey. She did look right at Mickey and say "Whose that?" as loud and clear as she could, its because DH always says "Whose that?" when Mickey comes on. Anyway she did really well the whole day there. We can not wait until our next trip in 2012!! Also, I cried when she met Mickey and I really love the new meet and greet setup. We waited less than 5 minutes to meet them.
