"Newest" Moms Hangout... take 2!

Ahhhh!! Our realtor called last night, we have a showing on our house this evening, for a couple that came through the open house on Sunday! Luckily, our house is still relatively clean from Sunday, so tonight we just have to rearrange a few things, wipe some things down, and sweep and vacuum. The only bad thing is the showing is at 8:30 tonight, which is when Elliott normally goes to bed. So we are going to go out to my parent's house, and he and Wyatt are just going to sleep overnight there (my parents are watching them both during the day on Thursday anyway). I hope, hope, HOPE this works! With Elliott getting mobile, the design of our current house just isn't working.

I feel your pain. With the coming of a baby boy, we have decided that we definitely need a larger house. We are talking about buying a few acres and building one, but its all pretty stressful (and spendy).

I have to laugh. My realtor just called. He said to bake cookies so they are done right before the showing, so the aroma is in the air. I laughed at him and asked them if it really works, and he says it does!! Gives the house a homey feeling! So we shall see if it does!

Lmao cookies??? I think it would just make me want cookies. We're looking into buying a house and found one we made an offer and they came back super high!! It's soo crazy buying a house I'm sure it's just as crazy selling. I can't believe you have a showing at 8:30pm!!



Logan started gymboree last week and so far he LOVES it!!!! He's having a ball, and he's already starting to try and walk and crawl!!! It's crazy he's only 5monthes!!! I'm not ready to chase him around yet but other then that we're doing great we have a disney trip planned for sept22-26 for a family vacation before DH has to start dialysis we don't really know when he's going to start but he's down to 9% function so we want to go on one "last" vacation before dialysis so that we can just go and forget about everything and have a good trip. I think it'll be good for all of us to spend some nice family time. Since we don't really know how he's going to react to it it's best to go now and we'll be going to MNSSHP!! Hope everyone is doing great!!

I know it sounds crazy, but we did this when we sold our townhouse in February and I think it totally worked! When our realtor first suggested it my husband and I looked at her crazy, but we did it for the second showing and it sold! It was well worth the few dollars spent on that tube of cookie dough... and I got to have cookies!

Well, I guess these buyers weren't meant to be. They called our realtor at 7:30 last night, saying they needed to cancel, something came up. Our realtor asked if they wanted to reschedule, and they said no. Grrr!!

And, I am sure because I was having an oh-so-fantastic night after that, my stupid neighbor was mowing part of his lawn at 11 at night!!!!! I was on the phone with the non-emergency number to the police department, but by the time they got the information, he was done, so they couldn't send anyone out. Nevermind the fact that he was out raking, and talking to someone in the house! Double Grrr!!!

UGH!! I have had a craptastic day today. My husband comes in the room and wakes me up at 7:30... WHAT are you doing home?? He got sent home because they didnt need him. K.. Then he takes a nap while the babies are napping.. Jasmine gets up from her nap, runs in the living room.. and BUSTED her head open! We had to call all over to find a sitter for the big kids, finding NO ONE who would, or could.. or whatever.. help us out.. and my MIL knocks on the door! SHe just happened to be dropping off something for the kids. THANK GOODNESS!! She stayed and watched the other kids so my dh and I could run Jazz to the ER. 3 hours, and 3 stitches later, we made it home. SCARY! In four kids I have never had something like this happen.

Yesterday I got these two crocheted headbands I ordered and they are so cute!!! In the flower they have little Minnie Mouse heads.
Also my DH called me yesterday evening letting me know it was gonna be a late night for him because a tree fell on his work truck. We had massive thunderstorms yesterday. I knew it was bad but I didnt know how bad until he got home today with pictures. Thank goodness he was not inside.

Lily's party was AWESOME yesterday! I was dreading it, but everything went super smoothly. SHe had a great time and my mom and aunt (her regular babysitters when DH is in school) kept her busy a great deal of the time so I got a break!

I'll post pics soon. The smash cake was so much fun. She was really hesitant at first, very neat and danty, but she really got into it. Clean up afterwords sucked, but again my aunt and mom were huge lifesavers there.

And I wanted to share since I know some of you are weight watchers members (or planning/thinking of joining). This week was my 16th week. I hit 20 pounds lost, which put me over my 10% goal!! I have about 13 more pounds to lose to be at goal. My personal goal was to lose 20 before our trip, so I have 2 weeks to spare!
