I actually don't think so. This is because unlike past bands like BSB and N*SYNC they play their own instraments and write their own songs.

They do , but they are the fad of this pre-teen/teen girl generation. In 5 years or so there will be a group of new good looking boys that will take over. Remember Jesse McCartney of a few years back. What ever happened to him?

Only the fans who like them for their looks or whatever will desert them. The true fans who like them for them will never stop. Just like Jesse and BSB and N*SYNC and even NKOTB still have fans.

You may be right about that, but they will not be as popular. Bands like that just don't have the longevity, because somewhat they are popular on their looks, youthfulness more than the music.
