Hi Everyone!!

I am in the planning stages of a Seaworld/Universal trip for either Spring 2005 or June 2005 for a surprise trip for my daughters 13th birthday. As I know how very informative and helpful the Disboard Addicts are, can someone tell me the things that we MUST see and the things that are not worth wasting time on.
Everyone helped so much when we planned a DCL vacation for my other daughter so I know that I can trust you here also.

So far we want to stay at HRH for 4 days and the rest I am relying on your opinions as I have never been to either park.

Thank you in advance.

I don't have much info about US/IOA, but if you enjoy animals or "looking" at things, I would suggest a bare minimum of a full day at SeaWorld. Maybe two. I think too many people blow through here and don't take the time to really appreciate it. Some people will say that two days is pushing it, but I think if you want to see it all you need the two days. For three trips, I've always spent one day at SeaWorld and would always leave feeling like we missed something or the day was too rushed.

HTH,

I went to Sea World two weeks ago and I loved Kracken the rooler coaster. IF she is a roller coaster lvoer this one is the best. Personally I didnt feel the park was worth $50 becaus eit was too hot to go. If it would have been a cooler time I woudl have deffinetly loved it if the weather isnt too bad. We loved the dolphin show and orca show the best.

I have been to IOA before and the Hulk roller coaster is the best!! I have ridden it about 7 or 8 times. The spiderman ride was pretty cool. Its a 3 D show but a ride. You are in the middle of the cartoon in 3d.

Do you have one of those passes that let you go to more than one park? I think they call it a flex pass? I would plan one day Universal, two days IOA and oe day Sea World unless you really like to see everythign then plan two days Sea World too.

I think you need at least a day and a half at SW to cover everything. IF you're just there for 4 days I would plan one day each at Universal and IOA, a day and a half at SW and if you get a ticket for USF that gives you 3 (or more) days access to their parks you would have a half day left to go back to the park you feel you didn't finish ( or wanted to re visit), or you may prefer to spend the time at the pool.

Must sees at IOA are the Spiderman ride, Hulk and DD are great coasters.

SW is pretty much you get what you see, you can see pretty easily if an attraction will interest you from outside, the only exceptions to this may be 1) JTA has a couple of little secrets that make it a good ride and 2) Wild Arctic is definately worth a visit.

With FOTL at HRH your kids will love u so from then on in you can't go wrong u could splurge on a cabana at hrh if u do no 10 is great:jester:
