Hi everyone,

I have just joined this forum just decided today that disney really us going to be the destination for my dream wedding and now I am soooooo excited !!!!

I will be booking an intimate wedding and I am planning for my ceremony to be held in the Wedding Pavillion, do I need to arrange the decoration my self ?

Can I go around all the theme parks with my dress to get various photographs or do I need to book a disney photographer and photo packages i am more thinkin of photos in front of cinderellas castle & have a shot on the flying dumbo ride etc (My fiancee's dad is a professional photographer ) ?

Is it possible to reserve a large table at Cinderellas Royal Table for my reception but only for a meal but still wearing my dress ?

erm .... I know there is a million other things I wanted to ask but cant remember right now.

Disney has a floral department that can take care of the decorations, and the cost will apply toward your minimum. You can choose to have decorations brought in from an outside vendor, but I believe Disney will charge a small fee for cleanup and such.

The only way to get pics inside of MK in your dress (outside of booking a MK wedding) is to do the MK photo shoot, which I believe is open only to DFTW weddings. It is currently $800. You will be picked up at your hotel early in the morning (I think 2-3 hours before the park opens) and taken into the MK for the photo shoot. I think Castle/Dumbo/Carousel are standard photo ops. This will be with a Disney photographer, they do not permit outside photographers at this. You can have the photos taken a day or two before or after your wedding. You can also choose an Epcot photo shoot, usually at the World showcase. You might also be able to have MGM or AK as well, I've never heard of it, but I can't see why not.

No, not in your dress. As many here lament, Disney is pretty strict about not allowing folks into MK in wedding attire during park hours. You might be able to book a MK wedding, and see if they will do the reception in the castle. Be forewarned, an MK wedding has a $500k minimum. There are many wonderful places on property to have a reception, where you can where your dress that you may want to consider, for example the California Grill at the contemporary looks out on the Magic Kingdom.

Congrats again!

edited to add: If you haven't already you might want to check out Disney's Wedding site and set up a wishbook account for yourself so you can get a look at some of your options. www.disneyweddings.com
