Newbie with lots of questions

okay folks.. I am taking the family to WDW in March 2012. We are staying at the Carribean Beach Resort. Is it any good? I have read that everything within the resort is a SERIOUS walk. Tips?? I am unsure about how I feel about this { had no idea before booked this} because i want the kids to be able to go from room/pool/resturant without having to put their walking shoes on as if we were in a park.
My next question is I need input from people who rented strollers from outside companies during their stay. Not the plastic strollers at the parks, but strollers rented/delivered to your hotel. Which company did you use? How many kids, etc etc.. I have a 2 yr old and a 7 yr old {who has hip issues so needs a place to sit/ride often}. Is there a double stroller that holds more then 50# per seat and is roomy for a bigger child? I have been told a Phil & Ted but not keen on having my 2 yr old riding in the back looking at the back/bottom of the front seat. I also have looked on stroller rental companies websites and their double strollers look very narrow in the seat. I also have considered the special needs chair/stroller that OSR has on their site. This would be ideal for us, but would like a double stroller if can find something that works. help help help!!!

You have come to the right place to help you plan your WDW vacation. The people on here are a wealth of knowledge.

As for your resort, I have not stayed at CBR but have heard that everything is a little spread out, but should not put any damper in your vacation. I would put in a request to be close to the amenities that you want. I have to say that the pool there looks amazing. We cannot wait to try it out.

As far as strollers, I was going to recommend the BOB Duallie, but it appears that OSR is no longer carrying it. Maybe you could find another company to rent it from. It does have the higher weight capacity, up to 100 lbs for the total weight of both seats.

One other thing you might want to think about is your dining. You are only 4 months away from your trip and able to make all of your dining reservations now. Some of the popular restaurants book up quite quickly.
