Newbie with a home resort question

Just retruned from a trip to Orlando, and made the investement into the family at SS. After reading through the forum, I am confused about add-on points at the various resorts. My initial purchase was for 220pts at SS. That gives me the right to reserve there up to 11 mos prior. Now at the other resorts, I have only 7 mos. If I was to by an add-on contract of say 25 pts at HH. Would that now give me the right to reserve at both SS and HH 11 mos. prior? Also, Can I use the pts from either one to reserve at the other? or am I limited in reserving only what the points that I have for that resort can cover. Sorry, I know it sounds confusing. Any help would be appreciated.

Not confusing - it's a common question.

You may combine your SSR & HH points for reservations at the 7 month mark. Prior to that, only the 25 points at the HH can be used to make reservations at HH and only the 220 points may be used to make reservations at SSR.

If you wish, you could bank and borrow so as to have up to 75 points to use at the 11 month mark at HH every third year, and you could do the same at SSR to have up to 660 points at the 11 month mark there.
