Newbie waiting for paperwork

We put out deposit down last week and was told the paperwork would follow the next day. We haven't seen anything. How long did everyone's paperwork take?

I'm not sure who you're working with, buy we're in the process of buying and I can tell you how it's worked with us. We decided on a resale through DVC by Resale (Shontell). Her assistant immediately e-mailed me a contract. I printed off the contract, signed it, faxed a copy to them, and overnighted a copy and the deposit to the title company. They told me that it now goes to Disney for the dreaded ROFR decision. They said that Disney has up to 30 days to decide, but it usually runs 2 weeks. Assuming Disney passes, then we'll get the rest of the paperwork to finish out the purchase. Good luck and I hope this helps!

If you purchased direct from DVC, it normally takes about a week.

We purchased during a period when they were admittedly overwhelmed with sales, and it took about 6-7 business days for the paperwork to arrive.

If you are buying through DVC your paperwork will come via FedEx. If you don't have it by Tuesday (Monday is a holiday) I would call and see why there is a delay.
