Hi guys!

I'm currently looking into buying a resale to Boardwalk Villas.

I saw that you can buy extra points. Is a resale timeshare able to do this? If so are the points a one time thing or are they annual?

Also the price is about $50 a point... I understand disney can reject with their right of refusal. Is this price a good/fair price for myself & disney.

THANKS everyone.

DVC will allow you to purchase One-Time-Use Vacation Points for $15/point. This is available to all members (direct & resale) and you can purchase up to 24 points once per use year as a single transaction.

To get more points on an annual basis, you would need to purchase an add-on (direct or resale).

As the PP stated, the additional points can be purchased for $15/pt for up to 24 additional points. If you do purchase those 24 points, you cannot book until the 7 month mark.

$50/pt for BWV has passed ROFR in the past 6 months. You never know until you get through the process. It seems like most are getting through ROFR in less than 2 weeks lately.

Good luck!

You need to realize that Disney can change the rules at anytime. The $15 per point offer just started a year ago when they changed the point charts causing members to come up short points for their vacations.

I wouldn't count that they will always be available and I would buy a large enough contract to cover my vacations.
