Newbie - Silly Question

Sorry for the silly question. We are new to DVC and are going home for the first time in 3 weeks. We will be staying @ VWL and are wondering where you check-in. Do you check-in at the Lodge or is there a separate check-in for the villas? We are arriving very late the first night and just want to make sure we go to the right place.
