I'm new to the dining plan and I'm trying to start working on my ADR's so I can have them ready for when we can schedule. We are going Sept 26 - Oct 3. I can't seem to find park hours for Sept or Oct yet and I'm seeing conflicting days on EMH which might affect what day we do each park and therefore affect our ADR's. Any suggestions? Am I starting too early?:confused3

Since you're just "pre-planning", I'd go ahead and just work on guesses for now. It might help to be more abstract, such as "I want Akerhaus and Le Cellier on 'Epcot Day'", than to fix that particular day as September 30 (pulling a date out of thin air).

Then, as the trip gets closer, you can rearrange based on the actual calendar; if October's isn't out yet, the best bet is to assume the same schedule as the previous week -- it may or may not be accurate, but it's your best bet.

We will be there the same week! I am so excited about the free dining program combined with the Food and Wine festival at Epcot. We won't be able to make reservations until June 28, so you have a lot of time to think and plan.

Also, when you call to make your reservations, keep in mind that you can book for your entire stay with one call since you are on property. So, you once you reach 90 days out from your first day on property, you can make reservations for up to 100 days out.

The previous advice to make "generic plans" based on the park, and not the actual date is perfect.

The September Calendar won't be released until about June 1, the October calendar, around July 1. I'm not sure what conflicting EMH hours you are talking about, as the EMH hours won't be released until the calendars are released in June and July.

Yeah, I've looked at several different sites that give crowd predictions and they also have geveral EMH. But other sites have been different. I know it's not exact. Just trying to get a feel. It's exhausting trying to get all of my meals planned for September when I don't know what I'm fixing for supper tonight!:rolleyes1

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I've already started a basic plan using suggestions from the UG website's crowd calendar. I guess I'll just have to be patient! :rolleyes1

We're going to be there the same week (Sept 25 to Oct 4) and that's what I'm doing. I have my days pre-planned, but not attached to dates yet. We'll be booking ADRs before Oct hours are released, so there will be some guesswork in the booking, but Sept hours should be enough to get things pretty well laid out.
