I bought 2 5day phs for our trip in Feb. I rec'd the "cards" in teh mail - about 2 in x 2in w/ mickey on one and minnie on the other. My question is - are these my tickets? Or are they like vouchers where, when I get to WDW I have to go somewhere to get them "turned-into" PHs? They don't seem to sturdy to me and I would worry that they would get wrecked over 5 days. I was thinking that they would be laminated or something?

Any help would be appreciated.

What do they say on the back of the ticket? Is there a magnetic strip? Usually only Annual passes bought in advance are distributed as a voucher that must later be exchanged at the park.

You probably received "real" tickets.
I would not laminate them...the tickets used at WDW are flimsy little cards--usually a passholder is provided with them..a sturdier piece of paper card that protects the pass. If you laminate them, you will not be able to put them in the ticket machines and then have to wait in a line to get them exchanged for ones that can be used in the machines.

Those sound like your tickets. I have an AP made of the same material and it has been used quite a bit and it hasn't fallen apart yet.

If something should happen to them, Guest Services can replace the ticket.

Just make sure to make a photocopy of your tickets (back side) so they can be easily replaced if you lose them.

Thanks for the info - looks like they are the tickets - who woulda thunk it?? lol

Anyway - thanks for reminding me about photocopying - I will do that Monday first thing. I put the tickets in a safe palce at home, but I am stressed that I will forget them when we actually leave - it's 6 months away!
