Newbie needs code help please

Hey gang!

Our Disney vacation was a last minute decision and we have just booked last weekend. We booked directly through Disney using the special season savings. We booked a 5 night and 6 day stay at Wilderness Lodge (standard room) and since we are also staying off site for an additional 9 nights, we booked a 10 day park pass for each of us as well.

I have been to WDW once about 14 years ago and my husband and our five year old son have never been. I have been reading books and online sites like mad trying to catch up on all of the info we need to have before traveling this October. Unfortunately, I am just getting confused and overwhelmed on some topics. I am still struggling with all of the acronymns so understanding savings codes is a bit of a stretch for me.

Can anyone please tell me if I have been able to get the best deal possible given my last minute booking. Are there codes I should be calling in that are applicable to us? I would love the opportunity to save some money and would totally appreciate a little hand holding through this if anyone is so inspired. That was all the long version for ......HEEEEEEEELP ...with sugar on top ....please.

Your CAA agency may also be able to get you a discount if this one doesn't work for you. You can book a room only without going through an agency, but for a room and tickets, that makes it a package, and to get the CAA (AAA) discount for a package you have to go through an agent, if there are any packages left.

We called tonight. It seems that the very code mentioned was automatically applied to our reservation when we booked through the Disney website. I thought that odd since so many people say that you can't get the discounts without specifically referencing a code or calling and asking them directly .

So it looks like we are good. THANKS!!!
