Hello Ladies!

I am so excited to start planning my Disney Wedding in Orlando. We are planning a memories collection wedding for late April of 2013. I have a question/need some advice from you all. We cannot officially start planning anything through Disney until 6 months before and I want to book David and Vicki Arndt. I'm not sure if I should wait until we officially book everything through Disney and get our date set and risk them getting booked by someone else or if I put the deposit down and risk not getting the date we want. So I guess my question really is did you have a date in mind and basically get the one you wanted? What would you do?

This could be wrong, but didn't the Ardnts recently move to Tennessee? They were still doing the weddings they booked prior to their move but I'm not sure if they're still booking Orlando weddings. You might want to check that.

I have been emailing with her already she said they are available for my date in April.

I am having the same problem with my escape wedding since we are about 10 months out right now and vendors want us to start booking but we will not know our official date until october when we are 8 months out. But I think it is easier for you to get your date through Disney if it is a week day versus a weekend day. Like we asked for our wedding to be held in a Monday at SBP.
And also earlier in the day is easier to book as well. Like a 10 am ceremony. So if you plan on doing it during the week earlier in the day I'm sure you can pretty much bank on getting what you ask for. You can always put your deposit down with vendors and tell them the date you requested and if it changes tell them you will update them. Most vendors will do all they can to work with their brides so they can make $$$! My fiance and I have put a couple deposits down already and just told them our dates are tentative until October. But if doing this bothers you, you can wait until the 6 month period and hope your vendor is available. Hope this helps...I know how stressful it can be.
