We bought 150 pts for SSR last year, with a Dec use year. Got add-onitis and just added on 50 pts (also at SSR) with the same December use year, directly from DVC. So first question -- do we now have 2 contracts, a 150 pt one and a 50 pt one, or do we just have 1 200 pt contract?

Next question -- we already banked 8 pts. Now that we just added on 50 pts, at the 9 month mark -- can we bank 50% of the total 200 pts? So could we bank all 50 pts that we just added on? Or can we only bank 50% of the 50 pts -- so we could only bank 25 pts at that time?

Thanks!

You have two contracts from a real estate view (you can sell them separately later) but from an account management view, including for banking and borrowing, they are considered one. In other words, you have 200 points total and can bank 50% of that total at the 9 month mark. Thus, you can bank all 50 points if you have only banked 8 to date.

Yes, you may bank all 50 of your new points, since that is just 1/4 of your total. You have two contracts, but for point accounting they are virtually handled like one. We have two contracts at one resort also, and for accounting purposes, they act like one contract. They WILL actually take points from both when making reservations, and I have noticed that they often will do it equally. You can track that in your "My DVC" online.

LOL! Sorry for the "echo", but I think we must have been typing at the same time.
