New York Terminal Port Parking

Is there a place for long term parking at the NY port terminal? If so, where is it located and do we have to make a reservation for a spot? If not, where do you leave your car?

Parking is expensive ($40/night) at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. Not sure if there are other places where you could park for a cruise.

Yes, there is long term parking...and no, you don't have to make a reservation. We parked there when we went on our first Disney cruise. It was one of the cruises to Canada from New York back in 2013.

It was sort of funny experience for us. When we arrived, we drove to the top tier of the garage and had no issues finding a spot. We got out and looked at the Magic (which was RIGHT there) and were just so excited as we looked the ship. A few hours later we were in our room on board. We stepped out onto the verandah...and lo and behold.....directly below and across from us, was our parked car.

I don't remember it being particularly expensive...but then again, the cruise was only 5 nights. So relatively speaking it may not have seemed that expensive. But, it sure was convenient and simple.
