Hi, all.
We are planning on eating at Via Napoli for New Year's eve & would like to time it so that we are in the restaurant at the time Italy is actually celebrating their New Years. Right now we have a 4:30p ADR. Taking into consideration DST & ET, we live in Chicago, would Italy be celebrating at 6 Orlando time? Has anyone ever done anything like this, be it in Italy or Germany? Thanks!!

Cute idea!
Lets look at this in Zulu time because that is the only way I can figure out time zone changes. Italy is Z+1. Eastern time is Z-5. So yes, it is a six hour difference and 6pm in Orlando will be 12 midnight in Italy.

COOL!!! So, would you believe it would be better to have the 4:30 ADR & take our time to be there at 6, or move to a 5:45 time slot & hope we are able to get in on time? Hate to go later, miss it, then get out later for the rest of the festivities.
