Thank god the baby is doing better.. poor little angel.. going through so much while still so little and fragile. I am happy for her and her family.. I pray that she continues to get better.

I am doing better.. Time heals all wounds.. right? I was fine the first couple of days.. not sure if i was in shock or not.. or still in denial.. but the weekend was hard on Saturday after my friend's baby shower that I was co-hosting, and found out my cousin that doesnt live w/her husband bc of logistical problems is expecting her 2nd baby the same time I would have been expecting mine.. (that hit me hard) So the weekend was NOT good.. but today seems to be a much better day for me.

Reading this thread keeps me upbeat.. as well as planning my upcoming trip to the world for my **gasp** 35th bday in January.

I shouldnt have said I dont sew.. I sew quilts.. clothes no, quilts yes!! HA.

We are staying at Old Key West (using my timeshare for that Sat pm and Mon. pm) we are wait listed for the Sunday pm for points.. but can pay cash as it stands right now. Sooo.. am keeping my fingers crossed that we get to pay w/points.

So far I have made dinner ressies for Chefs de France on Sat pm, O'hana on Sun pm and the Yatchsman Steakhouse on Mon pm (which is also my bday!!) We have been tossing around the idea of doing a breakfast at Cinderella's Castle the morning of my bday... but dont know that I want to pay $80 (which is mostly bc of the pictures) vs. going to say the Kona Cafe for their scrumptious Tonga Toast for a fraction of the price.

Sooooo.. decisions decisions!!

Sounds like a tough weekend. You're doing so well and time does heal - slowly...

Great choices so far, Kelly! Personally I'd go for the Kona Cafe brekkie - as far as I'm concerned, Tonga Toast wins over CRT everytime!!! Mind you, I can be enough of a princess on my own and don't need the competition... :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Hey Aisling, if you need/want to catch up, I've added a couple of days to my October trippie and started a pre-trip report for December... ;)

Lovely photo, Jill. Thank you for sharing...

And fab news about baby Sierra! What a girl... :goodvibes:

Thank you Nan & Aisling. The Vets had a great time at the dinner. It is nice to be remembered.
Nan, the girl scouts might want to contact a Veteran Home. We have one in Vineland NJ & every year the Legion goes there & does a picnic for them. They truly look forward to it.

Everyone have a great thanksgiving.

 See Kelly, Disney is Great therapy!

No matter how upsetting life gets having a Disney trip on the horizon makes mine a little brighter ::yes:: I hate to say this, but check and see if you can even get into Cindy's. That, unfortunately, is still the HARDEST adr to obtain.

I was checking on what ADR's Adrian and I could do while in FL next month. We are now getting two day park hoppers for the trip. Adrian and I would like to try to get on EE, neither one of us have ridden it yet. We also want to do EPCOT. MK is already on the list for the KTTK tour. These plans are only for Thursday and Friday of our week. We have plans for ice cream at beaches and cream on thursday. I'd like to have a sit down dinner with him and am considering an ADR for the new restaurant in Japan. We also have plans for dinner at the Turf Club at SSR for Friday night (our possible meet up with Kaz and son.)

The beginning of our week will be spent at Universal. Rose has a couple sisters, a BIL and a niece coming in to join us. Adrian and I can go to Uni for seven days but I think we'll only do two or three. Rose has an annual pass to sea world. I am keeping the option open to maybe go there with her too.

I always plan one day to do DTD. I love to wander there. I checked the calendars for House of Blues and Hard Rock Live but haven't seen any good concerts planned for that week. Their calendars change constantly so I will keep checking to see if anything new pops up.

That's about it, I think. It'll be a non-commando week for sure.

Hey Tigg...

Disney is for sure the best therapy out there.. and when I start feeling blue.. I keep trying to think of the trip.. As far as the CRT, I had inquired back when I made the other ressie's... and they did have tables open. I just know that the meal would be ok compared to the fabulous food at the Kona Cafe (not to mention the bloody mary's there which can not be found in the dry kingdom!!)

Your trip sounds great. I have done the KTTK tour twice and LOVED it. I sent my parents and in laws on it back in August and they all LOVED it.

There are just sooo many restaurants to choose from.. and so little time. I think we are going to do a park a day when we go. EE is AWESOME!!!! You are going to love it. Make sure to grab a fast pass for it.. then hop in line for it... then grab another fast pass.. and keep repeating the cycle!!! There is also a single rider's line which moves fast!!

but I have been slammed with so much and it doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon (especially with the holidays). I know a few posts back I talked about getting a website up and running and I am actually working on that and plan on being done by end of the year. Sorry I haven't gotten to catch up on all the recent postings (and you guys sure do post...:) but I didn't want anyone to think I was "forgetting" to get that website done, etc.

Anjelica...that is SOOOO understandable...we know you'll visit when you can!!!! hope all else is going well!

Hi all, thanks for the warm welcome. Just so you know we just signed my wife up on the boards, she is Teacherbell. we are so looking forward to the cruise, it will be an exciting change of pace from our annual trips to WDW at Christmas. (Teacherbell is of course a teacher so Christmas is our best opportunity for travel)

We are going to be at WDW this Christmas but I think I am more excited about the cruise over a year away. However the sooner Dec 22nd of this year comes the better, looking forward to a Dolewhip and Mickey Bar.:yay:

ya I got it. I'm on Houseparty.com. I have to say I've not been greatly impressed with the party pre loot I've gotten for the ones I've "hosted" in the past. I tried to do one for Tom's Shoes, last summer, but it was a bust, bad directions on their part, as to what they expected and then end of summer I did host a kidz bopp party, we got a cd, wow and 4 trial sized hair colors. Not so great. I didn't even bother to login and sign up for the DCL thing, as I thought the last 2 were lame. Watch it be a great hostess gift this time, server me right....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Maybe tomorrow I'll feel like surfing and wasting time on the net. Today I'm just too busy with work, which is good, I'm paying for my cruises....

Off for Chow, catch ya later

Was that an email?

It was...& i just forwarded it to you...altho based on Nan's experiences...it may not be worth the trouble...I'm gone that wkend for a cropping wkend in the mtns - but wanted to pass it along.....

Morning Magic Mateys! :goodvibes

I put our Disney tree up at the weekend so here's a rather poor pic of my now festive hallway...

Wow... you already got your tree up!! you are organized. Is it a real tree? or a faux? I normally go out mid Dec and get one (real) and hope it makes it til New Years Day.. (that is when I like to take it down..)

That cruise line house party sounds interesting.. Just dont think I could get as many friends interested in it, as I am. I have a gf that USED to be into it.. but her new hubby is not so much.. oh well!
