...Kaz, congratulations on your DVC ressie! My kids and I are dying for a Disney trip, but we don't have the time or the money right now. I'm having my basement tiled, and we decided to go with the good stuff, so there's one Disney trip eliminated. But the new floor will be worth it...

I know what you mean about having the cash - our house is falling down around our ears but it needs such a major overhaul that we keep putting it off which means, for the time being at least, Disney gets our £££/$$$!!!

okay i'm emailing Nan & Aisling the info with links etc. to purchase the software. Karen...I would also LOVE to help you get organized & start scrapbooking. I think with the "POND" between us, your best bet is to definitely START with the digital...all you need is your computer & two software programs...1) the Mem Mgr 2.0 which is the photo storage & editing software and 2) the new program Storybook Creator Plus. These are both exclusive CM products. With the Creator Plus you can make 'hardbound' books OR you can just have the 12 x 12 pages printed at Costco or CM Photo and then when you pick them up - you just adhere them to the pages that CM has in our regular scrapbooks. Nan - yes you do journal on the computer BUT i think you could also add hand journaling to the pages when you get them back as well. This also allows you to have the pages all done digitally and to still be able to include memorabilia etc. in the album.

We stayed at the Sheraton couple weeks ago. It was very nice. $139 a night as a walk in, might be cheaper if you call. Not walking (well, long walk) we used the trolley $3 per day for adults.

This sounds ideal, Brenda as I have qualifications in Digital Imaging and DTP so it seems like a logical progression. Plus in this digital age most of my photos are on the computer. One question tho' - is the software Mac compatible as I don't easily have access to a PC??? Anyway, I look forward to discussing the possibilities with you further when I get back from WDW...

Thank you, milady! It is cool as what I thought was going to be a dollar-fest of a vacation has turned into quite a restrained affair - well, almost! This is Disney after all... And across the street will be fab - it's just cool to be anywhere near the magic...

You can print the pages yourself (if you have that quality of a printer), or upload them for printing by Costco, CM PHoto...or any online photo service with capability to print a 12x12 page (i think most do)...

btw, mom's post op surgery went good today. She has moved home from the skilled nursing care area back to her apartment. I made the appointments for next week too, another with her surgeon (the fluid is still there and will need to be drained) and also with the cardiologist. Her glacoma procedure is tenatively set for 10/29. It never ends with elder care.

My daughter & I are flying into Ontario & my friend Patti (who flew down this a.m.) & her daughter Vanessa will pick us up - then we'll head down to anaheim. Vanessa works at Disney Studios so Patti went down early to spend the day with her...checking out all the "stars" that are hanging around or filming there.....
From the looks of all the photos i've seen on the DL POTD thread...i'm already really liking the 'pumpkin & candy corns'.....

oh that's okay....the 4 of us went last year late August & we had such great fun...we've decided to make it an annual 'girls only' trip! You & Molly should join us some year - when life is a little easier!

we're home. Molly had 6 teeth pulled. an extra baby tooth, as a freebie

Molly is bleeding alot she is packed with gauze and is leaking out her mouth so is using a kleenex to keep it from dripping on her clothes.

I hope it stops up soon. I can change out the guaze in a few minutes. Then every hour thereafter.

She was great during the the whole process. The doctor let me sit at the door to watch and keep her company. She didn't even flinch with the shots of novocaine.

Molly update...she is fine. I took a nap and Paul and she went out to visit her friend and drop off lil bros overnight supplies (he had an invite) to stay with his friend. She came home with an arm full of loot from her friends house, get well gifts, Harry Potter #4 movie and we're watching it now.

We will have to carve a pumpkin in her honor with 6 missing teeth! Picture to post of it all tomorrow.

ohhh i just had two wisdom teeth pulled it sucked took 4 days to compleatly stop bleading. one was so messed up it was in my check. still taste blood when touch with my tong. today was first day didnt kill pain. only took two vikodin..im so sorry about the 6 teeth pulled sucks. hope she dose better.
