I'm not a country kind of music person either....LOVE Bon Jovi, U2 (my absolute fav - love Bono), Hinder, Nickelback and just about anything else....

Aisling - your photos & the car tour you took your family on is really getting me psyched for our trip in Sept. it's not that far away....

I've always wanted to do parasailing...next trip might just be the best time - with all of you!!!!

hoping you all have a really terrific day - only 2 days before the wkend:cool1: altho going to be hotter here today than it was yesterday (i should say at home - over here on the coast - probably will stay fogged in all day and maybe reach 65 - at home - we were at 106 yesterday - supposed to beat that today)....fortunately my SIL is taking DS over to G'ma's complex where they have a pool.....

Morrning matys

My kids had me at Napoleon Dynamite the day it opened...

after about the third time watching it that movie finally grew on me.

I was turned on to netflix a couple years ago and it works quite well for us. We watched Casino Royale last night, great movie! We saw Eragon earlier in the week, the book was better. Hubby and me rarely go to the theatre, before Pirates the last movie I saw in the theatre was Nemo~

John bought me tickets to a local Wolf preserve that we still haven't used. I told him I'd like to go in the fall when the weather is nicer.

106!!! Are you kidding me!?!

I think I'd rather live on the coast...I can handle 65 easy~

cool cool well blockbuster you can turn in the online one in the store and trade in for new movie lol its cool.
casino royal i relly liked. i like those type. ociens 13 looks ood cant wait for dvd of it.
ghost rider was good to.

Ive heard of a wolf preserv in utah i think.. and wish i could do it but just have to wait .
it was 116 yesterday and today 115 im hateing this heat wave..but i just stay in

I had no idea we had a Wolf Preserve nearby til hubby gave me my gift~

That's hot, no really...we've been lucky this year has been mild on the east coast. Not too many hot spells yet. When it gets hot here it gets muggy too...I've been in Texas when it was over 100 and trust me, muggy feels ALOT worse.

We saw ghost rider about a week ago, it was neat...
very true to the comic book storyline. I liked that about it.

Boy i haven't seen anything for awhile.....need to see Transformers, Shrek, Ratatouille, Oceans 13, that Casino Royale sounds good....and now there's some more coming out...i need to catch up!!!! :-)

Sounds good....i'll pick it up ~ if i don't see it on one of the many cable stations we have - that never seems to have much on them:confused3

DS saw Transformers with his buddies Tues night - they thought it was great & he'd go again if we wanted to see it....need to see Die Hard - Live Free too....i try not to go too often to the theatre....can't go without having my 'buttered' popcorn with M&M's mixed in it....definitely NOT a low-point snack:lmao: :rotfl2:

OMG - I didn't realise you had BB in the US! BB8's been on a few weeks here and it's really not getting the viewing figures it attracted in previous years...

Did any of you see the Parasailing photo in the POTD thread - no 5465 (just posted on the 4th)....it's awesome - so that settles it for me - that's definitely what i'm doing!!!!

i'm not a simpson's fan anymore so not sure about a new movie- we used to watch the tv series :happytv: so regularly...that it's just run it's course for me....but then i don't have a lot of time for TV these days....or i choose not to watch it as much...would much rather just DIS:banana:

I forgot about Live Free Die Hard and The Simpsons!

The Simpsons comes out on the 27th. I am not sure if we'll go to the theatre for either of them tho.

Hubby and me don't watch too much of the reality stuff...

he's a sports guy and likes me to watch tv with him...but I cheat, my computer is in the living room and I'll be on this while he watches his sports. I am on the computer ALOT because of lag time at work and my disinterest in the sports on tv.

When he watches movies, I'll sit with him~

Jade...your package is going to be a little late...

Aisling is sending me something to add in with the Birnbaums guide, as soon as I have her package I will send them both out together...just wanted to let you know.

ah cool i look forward to it i bet ill learn alot from it and still thank you both verry much for any thing you send me

I use to watch simpsons alot to now its off and on but we will go see the movie if not for sur dvd.

So far bb8 is good they have big brother after day on showtime and im recording it every night watching it in morrning.. so far just jucuzy and pool talk.

Sport is the default channel in our house - my DH can get interested in anything tho' he's having a tough time at the moment as the soccer season isn't back with us till August and he's missing it big time... ;) Because of my sons I have become more interested in sport in recent years so don't resent it quite as much as I did in the early years!

I like a lot of the US crime-based series so set up the Tivo to record those -especially love NCIS, Close to Home and Criminal Minds at the moment. Also enjoying Heroes... :happytv:

i like ncis,close to home,ghost whisper,heros,jerico,small vill,supernatrual,bb,suriviver,american idol,pirets master,the unit,csi,csi ny,
gona check out kidnation and moonlight this seson

Isn't there an international soccer tourny going on right now?

My FIL watches faithfully, I hear Mexico is doing quite unexpectidly well~

NCIS, CSI (all of them) and ER are at the top of my tv list...
