Picture Arnold Horshack in Welcome Back Kotter waving his hand in the air & going wu wu wu.
Jill, I googled like mad trying to find a picture of Arnold Horshack with his hand raised, but I couldn't find one!

Debbie, that's another craftsman I can DEFINITELY use in my family. I want to retile my kitchen, but it's so derned expensive to hire someone!!!!! Mel isn't handy around the house, and I don't want to take a chance of doing a lousy job myself, so my plain old ugly tiles remain until whenever.

A very vauleable skill in the small farming town of Park River, North Dakota.
Nan, please tell me Paul was a farmboy!:rotfl:

:worship: OMG Tiggie are you freaking amazing or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How did you do that? Where the bleep did you find that?

See you made me curse in front of our cruise friends! ROFL

I did what you said...

I googled Horshack (minus the Arnold) and went to the images tab. That pic was the first one that came up~

 :confused3

Nan, please tell me Paul was a farmboy!:rotfl:

unbeliveable huh? No he is CA native, born in Stockton (a farming/port town north of here) but visited his grandparents in ND for summers. I think he spent a little time doing farm boy stuff, not nearly as much as his brother, who tells us of his summer picking sugar beets. Paul's mom grew up on a farm house, rode her pony to school. Paul's dad lived in town, but did start a crop dusting service at 15, with his older brother. The local airport in ND was renamed after Uncle Bill Skjerven, W.C. Skjerven Field.(that is where wilson's name comes from, well half of it, Wilson (my dad's middle name) Conrad (uncle bills middle name) Wil is the 4th W.C. Skjerven in our family. (one is a girl :scared1: ) (wendy constance)

okay, skjerven history done for the day. uff da.

Now this sounds good

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uff_da
Uff-da Bock -- beer to appease the gods of winter

Uffda Bock label Here is a Bock brewed to appease the Gods of Winter. Hearty and
full-bodied this is a “Big” bier. Brewed in the Reinheitsgebot tradition, ...

I used it again...Uff da!

I need to start packing! Updated me pretrippie again tonight...

still sticking with FWCabins-hubby's happier in the woods ;)

woods = dirt....uffda beach = sand (& rum) yum

OMG I did - and nearly jumped out of my skin! :scared1:

The volume was high on the Mac and all the OOHs made my dog bark! This set off a chain reaction as the other dog, who's deaf, started her staccato sympathy barking - very hard on the ears - which overexcited the original one even more! They're now running around the house like nutters coz they think someone's at the front door!!! Uff da!!!! (I like how it sounds too...)

If you guys can cause this much chaos transatlantically, how bad's it going to be onboard the same ship???? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My cat heard the "ooh ooh ooh" and his ears went back & wouldn't go anywhere near the computer. Usually, I can't get his tail from the front of the screen.:surfweb:
