New Years Discounts??

I am sure the answer is no, but is there ever a discount on anything offered around New Years? I am planning on going Dec 29- Jan 3 (2009-2010).

I'm thinking no, since it's part of the busiest week of the year -- there's no need to offer discounts when all the resorts are booked solid.

Starting on 1/1 AAA offers 15% off deluxe, value & villa rooms, 20% off moderate rooms.

It's a long shot, but you might want to call the S/D and see if they have any discounts left. Their rack rates will be high, but there might still be discounts left for them.
