HI-
i posted a few question on the familes area, but i am new to this borad..and we are trying to plan our 2nd trip to WDW. we were only to MK last june for 1 day, so we would like to go back and be able to get to all the parks......we are looking at either dec 27 2004- jan 2 2005 OR dec 30th 2004- jan 4 2005.
we have 2 daughers ages by then will be 13 and 5 .
wondering a few things.. are the chirstmas decorations still up by then? is the MK as busy then as is in the end of june? I want to go in winter this time, because it was too dang HOT when in june( coming from WI, the heat gets to us quickly and that does not make a ahppy family:( )
any tips for us in the planning stages???
looking at the value resort music one......and buying the 4 park ticket ( no intrest in water parks)....and of course character meals and breakfasts at every park.

thanks!!!!!!

Tina

i read on a link ( thank you for the referall leslie) that since i got a higher rate qouted for chEcking in during the holiday season, even though i amstaying ove rthrough the value season.......wondering if any one knows the rates for the value resorts in the value season ? jan 2-4? 2005

THANKS!!!!

There is no way of knowing what the rates will be for 2005. If you make a reservation before Disney posts the rates you will pay 2004 rack rates for those dates.

Once you know the rates and the dates of value season, then you can decide how you want to make your reservation. If you check in when the rates are high that is the price you will pay for the entire trip. If you want to take advantage of value rates you would have to make 2 reservations. One for the high season and then one for value. You would have to "check out" and then back in again. If you tell them that you have 2 reservations they can mark that in your reservation so chances are you wouldn't have to switch rooms.

It is too early to know pricing. Just keep checking on the DIS, www.mousesavers.com , and the WDW web site for prices.

We are planning a 30th anniversary trip for my parents in July of 2005 and have already made our reservations at BCV. As of right now our rates are in the regular catagory although the end of July is the value season. Our travel agent explained that when Disney publishes 2005 rates (sometime in the summer of 2004)they will then change our rates to the 2005 value rate. Does that make any sense? At least I hope that's the way it will work.

that makes sense, but i guess it could go either way...the price could go up or down right?
i am kinda stuck with making any ressies until after the new year....but i still wnat to have my game plan ready to impliment princess:

thank you!!! for the help!!!!
