New way to see if waitlist came through

We were wait listed for our trip in Sept for AKV. Well I just happened to look at our ownership acct. just now on disneyvacationclub.com and noticed our upcoming vacation now says we are staying at AKV!

I did not get a call or a letter from DVC to let me know that my wait list had come through. This was a nice surprise this morning.

So if you are wait listed check to see if anything has been updated on your upcoming reservation info via the owner web page.

That's how I did it when we were waiting for our waitlist. Every half hour or so during the day for a few days, I'd refresh the page. It kept coming up with no change, and then one time, voila! We got it! I was so surprised, because I kept expecting no change.

Great idea & what a timesaver over waiting on the phone for MS!

The member site is getting better. It appear the ressies are realtime processing instead of batch. I just made a ressie and had to reallocate points to get the 11 month window. I had the laptop and hit refresh and saw all the changes while on the phone with MS - nice to verify while on the phone with them that no surprises occur!

YUPP we did the same thing! Was very nice not having to wait for MS. We have got almost all the days we have waitlisted for at BWV except July
3rd...just in case anyone wants to give us there Standard Studio ...lol
