Oh that Al Lutz, he's gotten all the latest info on Disney once again.

He was even able to find out information about the newest, bestest Attraction to come to the Disneyland Resort since Light Magic shone down Main Street USA during it's so-successful-we-pulled-it-to-ensure-that-it-retained-it's-special-nature season in the late 1990s

Join Mickey Mouse and all your favourite Disney Characters as they search for treasure at Mickey's in the Caribbean.

Today is the 1st of April, and is a magical day for fish in certain cultures.

But I heard they were also adding a Hannah Montana Animatronic to come out and offer a sung version of the Gettysburg address? Or did I just miss that in his update?

HA! I would love to see that! :lmao:

I heard the same thing. But she has a duet with the jonas brothers? I can't wait! :)

Jonas Brothers perform Battle Hymn of the Republic.

:lmao:
Happy April Fools' Day!

I heard that the show was only going to perform once a year (on this date even!).

:)

Thank God it's a joke. History isn't meant to be cool or trendy, or else I'd have no excuse for being nerdy ('cause loving Disney isn't nerdy, not at all).

I wouldn't put it past em...

If they tried to do that, there would be a ton of Civil War reenactors protesting outside of WDI until they reverted it back. Actually, that'd be a really funny sight, so maybe they should...

But they would have to wait till the trick or treat event and could only protest out in DTD or at DCA, since they aren't allowed to wear costumes in the park. Unless they only sent in the 9 and under crowd to protest.

:rotfl:

Not if they are in the Esplanade tho right?

Would that be the new version of America Sings? ;)

Yes there too, if they can get their weapons past Security, they might mistake them for a huge camera lens and ban them from bringing them in.

I was looking for that word but the Zombie inside me took the word I needed :rotfl:

No Britney Spears and the other disgraced Mickey Mouse club, Parent Trap kid's are all signed on for that project, it will open Feb 30, 2010. Geese and Patriotic Eagles have been replaced by small dogs and Bolt.

Ha, I wonder if you could tell them that you dress like that everyday... I guess it would not be a costume then?

This thread is too funny.
The idea of civil war costumed people storming DLR would be so funny but one question. Who is cleaning up after the horses? I am sure they would bring the calvary with them.

There are plenty of parents who buy/make costumes for their kids (and spend hundreds of dollars on the outfits and accessories so that the kids too can be "historically accurate"...something that only the parents care about). I could just picture a group of kids marching down Main Street all decked out, using their cuteness to persuade passersby into joining their "glorious" cause.;)

I was trying not to show my geekiness since I work the Renaissance Faire and have for years and am already planning my LO's first costumes, and my dance teacher was Queen for the SCA, I so know about historical "garb" :lmao:

That would be cute at first, but remember they brought in the young one's to fight in the civil war so some of that cute could turn at any moment!!!!!!!! ;):rotfl:

Soooo not sure whether this makes me laugh or cry. :upsidedow
