Just got back and they have updated the Top 7 to include EE as the number 1 must do. But unfortunately for us it was closed while we were there. We're figuring because of the weather. It was very cold while we were there. S. FL. dwellers here. Also, when riding the monorail it says to go over to AK to try EE as part of celebrating Disney's 50 yrs of magic.

We probably won't be back til after May. When its officially open.

That must mean that it is open some for guests. We went for the passholder preview - it was fabulous. They hadn't updated the top 7 at that time. I'll tell you - if they have it on the TV as the number 1 must do and guests can't ride it because it's not open, that wouldn't make sense.

We got there Sunday evening and thought "Yes, its open" and then it wasn't well we were disappointed. I felt bad for others because they didn't tell us til we got into the park. Just after you go through the turnstiles. I said to them "how come you aren't out there before people enter?" Given the fact that EVERYTHING is suggesting that it is open. (before the flames begin) Not everyone is into Disney planning like we are here on Dis. There are people that go to Disney that just call a TA and book a vacation without all the research (why I don't know). If you are watching the Top 7 in your room, seeing how great EE must be and then you get there and its shut down. Well that would be disappointing. Luckily we had park hoppers and left to go to MK. Came back later but it was still not open. But we got to go close and hoping May will come fast.

I love her little spiel on EE. Very entertaining!! :thumbsup2

I was there last week, and I rode it. I guess it's a hit and miss thing, but I've heard they're going to keep it open until it officially opens. The day I rode it, it broke down, but opened up later that day.

Going the 26th, hopeing to ride EE then.

I was there last week as well and heard from a number of people that there was alot of malfunctioning of the tracks... I guess it switched from track to track a few times and that was not working too well.
Many people rode it but many people also stood in line to be told it was closed.
I myself am chicken and will wait for all the kinks to be worked out.. :rolleyes1
