My DH and I have been TTC #1 for 5 years now. Just going through my first IUI treatment now.

I had no idea you've been trying for so long. I really hope it happens soon for you. When is youe next appt?

D&D- Thank you. I don't understand either but I have faith that something good will come from this struggle. I just hate feeling that my body is against me or that something is being taken away and it just isn't fair. Do you have the same problem?
Now DH and I have to tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. I guess this means I'll be in 2ww? I'll ask tomorrow when I call in to let them know I did my homework.

I am afraid to go find out, but that probably is our problem since I turned 40. My good friend had this happen to her when she was 38. She has since adopted a girl from China.

I'm hoping for a positive OPT soon. Then we'll be too.

Still no AF here which is getting me a bit worried and also took 2 tests and both were BFN. I hate this whole process! I want to be able to start the IUI before we go WTH? Ok rant over

WDW- Good move deciding to get the questions beforehand. I was too nervous to even think about it.

D&D- Thank you. I don't understand either but I have faith that something good will come from this struggle. I just hate feeling that my body is against me or that something is being taken away and it just isn't fair. Do you have the same problem?

Well today RE calls me after reviewing my file, test results etc. To my , she wanted to hold off on the Provera to bring on AF and give me the injectibel Ovidrel to make me ovulate. She said she didn't want the 3 good sized follies I have to go to waste, so why not just try this cycle.

I said yes without hesitation. I was surprised because I normally have 20 questions... DH went to the specialty pharmacy and picked up the injection. I just did it about an hour ago. It wasn't bad. I can't believe I did it.

Now DH and I have to tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. I guess this means I'll be in 2ww? I'll ask tomorrow when I call in to let them know I did my homework.

Holy Crudballs! That's great! What an awesome VDay weekend surprise for your both! Bring on the lovin'! I was able to give myself the Ovidrel in the dr's office too since I have spent many years giving myself injections for diabetes so I was more comfortable doing it myself. OMG I'm doing the happy dance for you! Bring on the BFPs!!!

Wow, I feel like so much is going on with everyone, I can barely keep up with who's doing what! If someone doesn't get a BFP this month I think I will be shocked!

I have nothing interesting to report, I still probably have another week until I can get a positive OPK, such a boring wait.

Well I am thinking of you all and crossing my fingers. I hope this is a hugely successful cycle for everyone!

My hubby had a vasectomy reversal in Dec 09. January was our 1st cycle trying. I am now 1 week and 2 days late. Took a pregnancy test the day prior to my period and it was negative. Took another one when I was a week late and it was negative. It's highly unlikely I am pregnant but at what point do you see a doctor? Any advice?

Of course up until this point I was like clockwork. I don't feel like we are stressing about trying but I did have strep throat in January and maybe that affected my cycle?

Hi KT27 ~ Welcome! I would see about going to your gyno and having a test. More then likely your strep throat threw everything off, and antibiotics can affect test results and cycles . It doesn't take much, believe me! You also want to make sure your gyno is aware that you are trying so she/he can monitor your progress.

Nope! He had a vasectomy so birth control was never an issue. But thanks for the input!

Thanks Rachel. My next Dr's appt is on Monday to check my folicles. I'm hoping they tell me they are ready and I can trigger that night.

Grrrrr to no AF yet. I know how it feels to wait for that so you can just start treatment. It felt like mine would never start earlier this month. I hope it comes soon and you can get this IUI on a roll.

I agree there too. It is a boring wait for all of this stuff. I'm actually ready for the 2ww so I don't have to go to the dr any more. I feel like I live there any more.

Welcome! I agree with esbrick, going to the dr would probably be a good idea. Either something is wrong or you are pregnant and you're just one of those very few women that an HPT doesn't work for. One way or another your ob/gyn will be able to tell you. Also, those antibiotics can for sure mess with your cycle.

Okay ladies. I don't know if any of you remember but I had my HSG today. And the results are: my tubes are clear!!!! (one dancing banana for each clear tube LOL) The test was a piece of cake. I didn't feel anything but the speculum. And I got to watch everything on the screen which was very interesting and neat. It's such a relief to have it over with now and now can move on to the next step. Tomorrow I take my Menopur shot and then on Monday I have an ultrasound to check my follies.

This was a great way to start the weekend. I'm ready to get my shot over with so I can just enjoy the rest of the weekend. I hope everyone is having a good valentines weekend.

Hi Ladies!! There seems to be alot of activity going on around here!! Hopefully we see some BFP's soon!!

AFM- I dont know if any of you remember...but I took this month off with my clomid. Well...I couldnt resist using my Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor that I payed a pretty penny for about a year ago. I was just curious to see what it would tell me ...being that i am not on my fertility drugs this month.

Well.. let me preface this by telling you that I have a 35 day cycle.....and I am on Day 20 0f my cycle. I have been peeing on the OPK sticks for the past 10 days....i kept getting "Low Fertility"...........WELL....today I tested ....and my Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor showed "HIGH FERTILITY"!!! 2 BARS!!!

So... hubby and I willl be BDing a lot for Valentines Day Weekend!!

I am going to continue to test until I get a "peak fertility" reading.....

Does anyone on here have experience with this monitor?? This is the only month I have used it..... I hope its not spitting out FALSE results... Anyway....just wanted to share my good fortune...
