Mrs. Charming I'm sending
and prayers.
and prayers.
and prayers.Ughhh... I'm going in to the Dr. tomorrow morning for an u/s... I'm having nasty low back pain that won't go away and some light tan discharge and I'm really afraid it's another m/c. Crap crap crap.![]()
I'm sorry you have to be here with us and wish you a short stay.

Ughh.. I went in at 8am this morning, after an hour drive. I had my bloodwork and an internal u/s. They saw the little sac in there, but what can you tell from a sac. They said they'd call me with the results a "little later" but it's now 3:30... so I called the answering service. All I want to know is if I'm miscarrying!!![]()
Welcome Carla.I'm sorry you have to be here with us and wish you a short stay.
Mrs. Charming, prayers for your appointment tomorrow. Lots of women have spotting and have 100% perfect babies nine months later but I know it's scary.![]()
I'm happy that 2009 has come to a close, here's to better times in 2010!

I hope it is not a m/c. Please let us know when you have the results. I will be praying for you.
Keep your chin up. You have 1 wonderful little boy, so it could happen again.
Kiki - How are you doing?

I'm fine. 30 weeks as of yesterday and still having my freakout moments. Hitting 30 weeks is good for me because I know if I go into labour baby has a good chance of survival. The other part of my mind worries about all the "what ifs". She doesn't move enough for me so I have my doppler to check up on her.
Thanks for asking![]()
They FINALLY called me back *after* I called the answering service, and of course, since the office was closed, they didn't have any numbers to give me. The Dr. said that since they saw the sac and the lining was thick and uniform (this is what I had to tell her first.. ugh) everything should be fine. I seriously waited until 4:00 to call and then got a call back a friggin HOUR later. Ugh. I had my phone at my side, practically in my hand the whole day! I called the nurse line this morning to at least find out what my numbers were. The Dr did say that since the first doubled, they're not as concerned with the hcg numbers since they saw a sac... but I'm still scared. You go girlMrs. Charming - how are you doing? Did they end up getting in touch with you?
So, I've decided my New Year's Resolution is to get back into really trying to TTC. This last year has been so rough for it, and I think I really gave up on having another baby. I'm refilling the Metformin this week, buying some prenatals, and going back to temping (ugh). I really need to lose weight too, but to be honest, I'm not even sure where to start. There's no time in the day left for exercise, and my diet isn't horrific. But, I'm going to really look at what I actually can make for changes. I'm staring down 36, and always swore I'd be finished having kids by 35. That means I have 8 months and 1 day to have a baby![]()
Losing weight is really hard, hopefully the Metformin will help you this time around. Or maybe just start with little things like taking the stairs instead of elevators, can't hurt!
Good luck!!
Charming -Don't worry. I had that type of spotting early on too. Scared me to death. Doc said it was normal. Everything will be alright!

Mrs. Charming ... I just wanted to say Good Luck. Your numbers are spectacular and I would try not to worry. What "should" your Beta be today? A HCG between 1,000 - 2,000 will show a sac and often, not much else which is totally normal. As for the spotting ... I had spotting this time until 13 weeks. Your progestrone sounds great but I would make sure you get that checked each time as well and as for supplements if it will make you feel better. Very light tan spotting is very normal and ok ....
Let us know. I will keep you in my prayers.
Thank youContinued prayers coming your way.

Thank you very much
the wait is the worst!![]()

Kronk's girl - what allergy meds do you take? I have really bad allergies too, so bad that I can't breath at times, and my doc ok'd taking Zyrtec while ttc and even while pg if necessary. She said it is most important that I breath, because if I don't breath, a baby won't breath. Have you checked out this website? http://www.safefetus.com/Search.asp
Leger - Welcome to the thread nobody wants to join! Or at least doesn't want to be a member of for long. Best of luck to you ttc in 2010!
Jen - doesn't life always get away with the goals we set for ourselves.Keep your chin up. You have 1 wonderful little boy, so it could happen again.

Charming - How are you doing today? Been worried about you.![]()
I'm thinking of you too Mrs. Charming.
Are you still spotting?
Hopefully some good news on your bloodwork today.

I too held off on getting stuff for this baby because I thought I would jinx it too. So irrational but that doesn't stop me! I was able to get baby a christmas stocking when we were in WDW and I bought a couple of toys on Black Friday. I thought for sure I did something bad. Christmas Day I was a wreck because I thought that for sure the carpet was going to get pulled out from under my feet.
