I was just sitting here thinking about what I like to buy when I go to Disney and thought this could be a fun question......

What is your fav store at WDW to buy souvenirs and what do you tend to buy?

I love World of Disney and the Christmas shop...I always buy a little bit of everything but always a snow globe.

We get ornaments on every vacation we go on, wherever it may be, as a reminder of all we've done over the years.

This year at WDW, my son found a nice set of very simple glass Mickey head ornaments; no decoration. It's a sleeve of 6 in shades of silver, gold and copper (brushed and shiny). We decided that these 6 Mickey ornaments will be our "Hidden Mickeys" on the tree; my husband and I will hang them while the kids are sleeping, and they'll have to hunt all over the tree to find them. The one who finds the most will win a small treat.

World of Disney is the best - I buy way too much - t-shirts, antenna toppers, assorted stuff I don't need but desperately want...

The day we left-Sept 3-was our anniversary. My husband bought me a really cute snow globe. it is Minnie kissing Mickey on the cheek. The base is heart shaped and says Loving moments...Lasting memories. It also plays Zippity-do-da. What a great way for me to start each day!!

Definitely world of disney...I must admit, I buy stuff for the kids in my class, snacks to share and such..

Oh. I'm a big shopper. I love all the DTD stores. I especially love the Disney Sport Store. Great Nike golf shirts and caps. However, I wait to buy all my stuff, or as much as possible, at WoD. With my AP, I get 10% all purchases, except high end collectibles.

World of Disney! Love that AP discount!
Each trip I buy a beach towel and DD gets a few pins.
Wish I was there right now.

I have a few items on my list this year. I really want a 2005 photo album..not a scrapbook (my 2004 scrapbook is still sitting empty with the pictures in an envelope!). I also want some dishtowels (weird, I know!) with Mickey on them. I want a new antenna topper, and a new t-shirt for all of us. I have almost $300 in Disney Visa Rewards to spend, so I'll be shopping till I drop!

mandala gifts in ak had some nice and different things( like wraps to wear with swim suits), basin & world of disney at dtd

other than a few pins i'm strictly an impuse buyer at disney!

I love World of Disney, they have a little bit of everything! I also love the First store you approach on the left hand side of Main Street. I tend to buy pins and after that its impulse, shirts, pillows, anything that is a must have!

We usually get an ornament for each family member. I usually get one item that really strikes me. Two years ago, it was a cool stainless steel necklace from the Africa shop in AK. Last year I got a statue of our family (the kind showing a family of 4 holding hands) in EPCOT. I love both items and smile at them daily. I like the souviners to last.

I like World of Disney A LOT. But, to keep myself in check, the resort gift shops are always really nice. Not very crowded and they have great souvenirs.

I am all about the scrapbooking store. I spend about $400 on scrapbooks and paper.

We are going to be there in mid December. I will also be using my Disney rewards and will be looking for unique Christmas ornaments.

Also a question: Does anyone know if the Lego store at Downtown Disney take Disney rewards for payment?

My list goes like this:

1. Tatooine Traders (Star Wars fan here!)

2. Pins (must buy 3-4 pins)

3. T-shirt (or sweatshirt) with the year on it

4. Picture frame for our best pic.

and yet another vote for the Christmas store...every time we go...every year it seems I need a bigger and bigger tree! Also love the snow globes..DD started collecting them, and I buy one for her everytime I see something unique! Also, Flash, the family Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, gets something from the Pet store (or pet sections of the other stores)! Have to have the t-shirt for that year, along with any special occassion (MNSSHP, MVMCP...etc)...so I guess you can say, I get lots of souvenirs from all over the Mouses House!
