New Toiletries At Swan

A change since my last stay in August. All the toiletries are now Bath and Beyond!!! Coconut/Lime shampoo and conditioner, shower gel and body lotion and two types of bar soaps...coconut/lime and vanilla...Very nice!!!!

We've been here since Saturday and housekeeping has been great and so is our suite...no complaints!!!

Thanks for the update DisneyFans4- can't wait to try them out when we go next week! If you have used the boats to Epcot or MGM, can you tell me if they had long waits/crowded, and if they were air conditioned? Hope the rest of your trip is magical!

We stayed at the Dolphin July 26-29.

2 out of the 3 days there, we got Bath & Body Works shampoo.

1 of the 3 days we got B&BW conditioner.

It seemed we were getting different stuff each day, but we were happy with the B&BW!

**We rode the boats, & no, they were not air conditioned.

I think the boats have a/c but it doesn't feel like it. It's been so hot and there are so many people. I want to see if the crowds are less next week. I heard the Floridians who normally start school this week do not start until next week because their school start date got pushed.

DisneyFan4 - what type/level of a room did you have at the Swan ?
We were in the Dolphin during Easter 2007.
We received Bed Bath & Beyond products on day 1 and then normal D/S oatmeal soaps the next 11 days.
I asked the front desk why no BB&B products - they said only for buisness travelers and conceirge.

We stayed at the Dolphin, in a pool view room with a balcony - outside wing, 8th floor, and you could see Mt. Evererst and TOT in the distance.

Love it! We'll be at Dolphin in Nov/Dec - DS & I are going with just a carryon bag, so anything I can leave at home is great. I'm sure this is on the website but I'll probably get an answer more quickly by just asking on here - does Dolphin (standard room) have hair dryers? I'd love to leave that at home if I could.

We were at the Swan at the beginning of May and got the standard S&D toiletries. Not complaining, but I would have loved to have had B&BW products! It's one of my guilty pleasures!

I bet they are for concierge/club level guests as they used to have slightly upgraded toiletries in the past. Maybe they ran out of the regular and had to use the B&BW products as replacements, or housekeeping stocked up with the wrong stuff?

I'll be at the Dolphin in November, I'll find out for sure then!

We'll be at the Dolphin for the first time in November. Can't wait. Is it best to rent a fridge, or have the mini bar emptied? Which do you feel is colder?

Blondie, I thought there was no more concierge/club level at Swan/Dolphin. I used to love their club level...If it's still around somewhere, I'd like to know!!! What's the deal???

DH and I love the oatmeal soap--- we leave for 10nights at the Dolphin on Sunday- do you think we can request the oatmeal soap??

Forget who posted the question but we always rent a fridge. The mini bar doesn't keep thing cold enough in our opinion, but we also have DS meds that need to stay cold also.

We just returned last night and I was in the grand suite on the 7th floor with an Epcot view, FANTASTIC!!! I was in this same room last year and had gotten the normal toiletries so I don't think it had to do with what room I was in. There is no club level anymore so I don't think that has to do with it. We were there for 12 nights and everyday given the BB&W products. It was the coconut/lime scent so everyone smelled great during the stay!!!!

I miss it already!!!!!
