Hello!

My husband has RA and will be using an ECV for our October trip. Since both walking for long distances and sitting for extended lengths of time causes him pain, it would be ideal if he could park the scooter for an hour or two at a time and get some walking time. Is this something he would be able to do? For example I was thinking he could park somewhere in the middle of Adventureland while we walk through the back side and around again. Are there places to leave the scooter?

You can park the ECV anywhere strollers are parked. Take the key with you. Occasionally the stroller area gets too full and cast members will have to shift them around out of the way of pedestrians, so you might find your ECV a few feet from where you left it.

Previous poster is right. That's the best way. I would add that you can park in other areas, as long as, you don't block the parade route or entrances and exits to any attractions, restaurants, or shops. You can't create a road hazard, either. It needs to be off to the side, out of the way.

Last tip - take along a brightly colored bandana, or length of ribbon to tie to the ECV - helps quickly distinguish yours in a sea of identical rentals!
