New to the Budget Board...overwhelmed!!! Questions!!

I use inbox dollars and my points. I've never gotten inappropriate spam emails by dealing with either of these companies. The progress is slow and the surverys are redundant at times, but it costs me nothing but time to do it. I tried swagbucks, but never had the success that other posters do.

Really?? It must be some of the surveys I was doing or something because once I started inbox, my spam box was full of pornographic type emails. I am considering starting up again and using my extra email address

Don't forget about ibotta, shopkick and savingstar to get points and money back on stuff you normally buy. I started with these a year ago (when I got my first smartphone) and have already earned $69 on ibotta and $47 on savingstar. They pay you PayPal or you can get different gift cards. I usually take the cash. With Shopkick, I cash out for Target e-gift cards and haven't keep track of how much. They are pretty easy to figure out but send me a pm if you need help.

I do Ibotta. I wish they ran their coupons like a store ad....for example starting on Wednesday ending Tuesday. I miss out all the time because they ad them random times and I forget to check.
I will have to look at shopkick. I have never heard of that one!

  • Shopkick is easy --earn "kicks" for walking in stores and/or scanning bar codes of specific products.
  • Bing takes a few minutes everyday to do searches (sign up via Swagbucks if you haven't already). I earn $5 every three weeks.
  • I started Find & Save a few weeks ago and I really like it. It offers rebates; for example: spend $10 at Bath & Body Works, get $1 back; spend $25 at Menards, get 3% cash back.
  • Do a search on this board for mPlaces (now called mPlus Places). There is a thread that details how to use it. It's very easy to do--basically install the app and "check in" when you are near local businesses. You can also earn coins by playing games when you are bored. I earn about $5 every two weeks with mPlus but others who live in more urban areas earn more.
I like to keep a spreadsheet of earnings, but paper and pen would work just as well.

Another easy GPT app is Checkpoints. You get points for "checking in" at local businesses and scanning products (similar to Shopkick) but you can also earn points by watching videos. I'll come right out and say that it's a slow earner, but I have an old iPod Touch that can't run Perk apps and can only run 4 of the 6 SB apps. So, when I'm done with SB for the morning, I switch over to Checkpoints and let it run. One point per video takes a long time to add up, but they have Target GCs ( 3,375 pts. for a $10 GC) and they deliver electronically. You can also run those videos on up to 10 devices, so if your Perk farm is pooping out, you can switch some of those devices over to Checkpoints until things get better on Perk.

I love learning about new opportunities like this. Thanks!
