New to renting DVC points.. have a couple questions

Hi,
We are looking to rent DVC points from Nov 7th - 14th 2016 preferably AKL Standard/Value Studio or BWV Deluxe Studio. What my question is how do I go about getting points for 3 rooms as we are traveling with 2 other family groups?
Where can I find descriptions of each of the DVC rooms for each of these resorts?
We currently have reservations at CSR with a dining plan. Will we be able to keep our dining plan if we decide to rent DVC points?

You probably will not be able to get anything in November this year....especially three rooms. Perhaps a three bedroom, but definitely not a value at AKV. If you are paying for the dining plan you can move it with the rented points...IF it's free dining you lose it altogether and would have to pay for the dining plan. Best to contact one of the brokers to see if anything for your dates are available. Once booked you cannot cancel, and payment will be as soon as the reservation is made.

If you Google search for "DVC Animal Kingdom studio Floor Plans" (or whichever other resort/room you're looking for) and look at the images, you should be able to find the floor plans you're looking for.

But yeah, as previously mentioned, your chances of find a studio at any WDW DVC (including SSR, which is usually the least popular) for those dates is basically zero. DVC rooms are booked far in advance, and November is a popular DVC time. You may be able to find a 1-bedroom with a non-standard (i.e. more expensive) view. Those are usually the last to go, but I think at this point I suspect that even most or all of those are gone.

Except for a few stray nights, Boardwalk studios are sold out for the remainder of the year.

As are Animal Kingdom Value Villas.

Animal Kingdom Value Villas require 11 month booking year-round; Boardwalk Standard do as well. All of Boardwalk is popular during Food & Wine, and with only 4 months to your desired dates, is booked solid.
