Ok just booked my first package with dining. We've always stayed with AP's so never paid much attention to how the packages work. With the dining plan I know it's 1CS, 1TS and one snack per person per day. How does it work theoretically.. can you use two CS in a day and then do two TS the next or use up four snacks a day. LOL just wondering do we have to stay with that formula of one per day (unless using two for like the HDDR) or can we make it more flexible. Also do all the onsite restaurants participate? What about DTD? Do they give you a list or where can I find one? Just booked a last minute trip for 11/27 and would need to get busy with the ADR's NOW!!!

Think of it as a bank. You can withdraw them in any combination until midnight of the day you check out. Almost all restaurants participate, and a complete list can be found here (opens in .PDF format.)

I haven't tried the plan yet, but it seems to be a great value for my party. Here's hoping it works for yours. :goodvibes

Thanks! I'm really thinking it will be a great value for us as well 2A, 1J, 1C. We typically budget for at least 1 TS a day anyway and that alone saves us money by using the plan I don't have to budget for a TS that typically runs us $90 for lunch and $140 for dinner after gratuity. One thing I enjoyed most about DCL was being able to enjoy the trip knowing it was paid for. With the package w/dining I can have that feeling knowing that when we go to the parks we are covered for two meals and only really need to budget for the smaller extras like water and popcorn. Somehow I think we might find that the plan really includes too much food. :earseek: Which means I can alot a budget more easily which means more trips!!! :moped:

I will be saving some (not a huge amount but still some) money, but a big influence was having it paid for in advance. Not having to worry about it once I'm down there will be great for me too.

Do make sure and note which restaurants require 2 table service credits (only a few "signature restaurants"). And don't forget that you have the snack credits that cover water, popcorn, etc.

It sounds like you'll have a great time. Enjoy! :goodvibes
