NEW to DVC - Can I make a reservation now?

Hi -

As I posted in another thread, we bought DVC last week, 300 points at BCV, December use year (thanks very much for all of the "welcome home" wishes!). All of paperwork is signed, deposit paid, credit approved - but obviously we haven't officially "closed" yet.

I am planning a trip in late October and would like to use a few points (about 36) for a few nights in a studio. Can I make this reservation now and "borrow" from the 300 points I will be receiving in December? Would I have to wait until closing to borrow these points? Advice needed! Thanks.

You should be able to call MS in the morning and make the ressie using your social security number. If you don't have that phone number, call your guide, they can help.
