New to DIS Boards

Hi....I have been reading all the great tips on these boards for the past month and decided to finally join. I will be in Orlando from June 1-15 and going to Disney, Universal, and maybe Busch Gardens. I have learned a lot and am a bit nervous about crowds and when to go to which parks on which days. It has been a lot of fun reading here! Thanks!!!!

Thanks!! I have been to Disney 4 or 5 times in the past 7 years...but it has been a while. Last time I was there, HS was still called MGM Studios! I am a bit concerned about the Star Wars weekends and crowds. We are only doing MYW tickets this time without the park hopeer because we really didn't use the park hopper in the past except for maybe 1 time. I just find the travel time on busses and to the parking areas to be too much time to spend. I would rather just stay in the park for the day and go somewhere else the next day!

However, the HS Star Wars weekends sound like they will be packed out so although I think it will be cool to visit then...none of the kids think it is great enough to brave the crowds.

We would like to see Fantasmic though so will likely go on a that day but avoid the Star Wars weekends....

I have been looking at a crowd level expected calendar and am hoping that info is correct.

Welcome! You will definitely want to go see Fantasmic at DHS. It is a great show! Stick around for a while after the show, to let the crowds clear.
