I thought that at first too, but it's getting picked up by reliable sources. I wonder what you get for 2 billion here in the 21st century? I couldn't begin to imagine what it would cost to build Disneyland now.

It's an interesting location though, there's a pretty broad swath of people in that part of the country for whom going to California or Florida is a bit much (expense and distance wise.) Also there will be some climate challenges in Oklahoma in the winter. They typically don't have extreme cold, but they do have winter weather there.

Hey why not? Who would have ever thought a piece of swamp land in Florida would become the biggest vacation destination in the world! Here's hoping it happens, would love to see something like this in that area of the country.

If they can solve the weather issues, I think a lot of people will be glad to have something closer to them.

I will be interested to see what their policies turn out to be like, and how the costs compare.

I saw this on Fox & Friends yesterday morning. I think it's interesting. I understand about the weather issue but there are other parks that are located in areas that get "winter" weather and they do just fine.
