also, another cool thing i just noticed when i was clearning a room for christmas storage (lol). When you click on something in your room now to move it, the item you clicked blinks (well it sort of gets lighter and back to the origianl color, over and over) to let you know which item you have clicked. i say THANK YOU vmk for that, it will make moving things when you have a lot of the same (like crates) much easier now.

and if you visit Ned... and go shopping with him- you will notice that the red travel chests are there as well as the new green ones- sorry no screen cap but all are 250 credits...

Also in the Golden HorseShoe along with the rivers and everything- if you look in furniture you will also see the Swamp Tree 350credits

Yes you read correctly- I'd concentrate on the Christmas stuff first for those with limited credits-

Husky, there are a LOT of pieces in there for sale, i can try but am running out of pic space lol.

Basically, you will now be able to make your own ride. It seems very cool. They are selling pieces of "track" for lack of a better term, Much like railroad track pieces in real life. Staright, bent, they sell "starter packs", even teleporters (presumably to make your ride longer).

The COOL thing is, when you try and enter the cave in splash mountain in vmk, it automatically pulls up a list of the most popular splash mountain bayou rooms, so you can then "ride them". I am far from experimenting with this yet, but the principle of the thing seems very very cool indeed.

Another thing that I think is new... if you click on the little "i" at the bottom left, the "Furnishings Mode" is still there, but now an "Only Allow Friends To Enter" button is showing. So much for the open rooms of friendship...

I've got to say, from what I've heard and seen, I'm pretty impressed with this opening/unveiling of the new land, new rides, new functionality, and new items.

No down time on VMK (that I know of) and everything seems to be working.

* An option for the Golden Horseshoe Mercentile is "Rivers" which allows you to create river rides!
* Golden Horseshoe also sells Swamp Tree under furniture for 350 Credits. Please post if you can get pictures for this stuff!
* All pictures that have been on walls are now in your catalogue.
* Splash Mountain Bayou has replaced Boot Hill Shooting gallery on the create a player screens
* You only get 5 credits per Clothes/Furniture/Room/Pin sold.
* VMK Central has been updated to show Hidden Mickey Quest Part 2 and Build your ride
* Magic is measured in minutes instead of seconds.
* On the What's new Menu, Splash mountian is now there.
* You can buy the travel chests from Ned's.

Close enough on the color, I've spent 20K credits already and I only have a tiny splash mountain ride but it goes thru both my new rooms(note to self: need to dump a few skull rock rooms) resale isn't that great but have the mules buy what you want to keep. It seems to have crashed me out for now. The toy soldiers will match acording to what I have seen. if you place red first the green will turn red (or I have rare ones that are magic, I'll take inferno for them) So far Very cool. two thumbs up.
