Hi, I'm taking my DD6 and DD9 for the second time to the world (single mom, taking them on my own ... so), I'll be getting a stroller for carrying the little one or carrying packages, 9/17 through the 24th staying at ASMovies (stayed there last time), we don't have park hopper and we don't have rental car. Arriving on 17th at 1030AM and departing on 24th at 6P. I have tickets to our first MNSSHP on the 20th. I was hoping to get some feedback, suggestions or input on the plan, used the crowd level predictor and the length of stay to pick the parks we visited on which day.

9/17 - arrive at 1030A. was going to skip park today (so that we can visit park on last day) have ADR at HDDR around 430P, then either back to hotel for evening or DTD

9/18 - AK for RD at 9A, we have no ADR today, after the afternoon break maybe DTD depending on what last night brought.

9/19 - HS for RD at 9, 1130A ADR at Prime Time, then break at hotel, then ADR at 1900 PF for 5p. Then Fantasmic for 8P.

9/20 - MK for RD at 9, ADR at 950A at CP, my little one has a new passion for Pooh and the gang. Break in afternoon, then tickets for MNSSHP, it's our first time. So hear either 4P or 7p is the time to make it back into the park, unsure what the real story is. I also heard that it's worth it to skip the first parade that night so that we can find ourselves some shorter character and ride lines. Advise?

9/21 - Epcot, RD at 9, have ADR at Ohana for 7:50A, BUT I heard that I'd have to take a taxi there, I think I might cancel if that's the case. Then we have lunch at Akershus for 12:30, back to hotel to chill, then dinner at Yachtsman for 6P (a must for us each visit). Then back to Epcot for Illuminations, never seen before.

9/22 - AK for RD at 9, then we'll leave and hit up beaches and cream for lunch (or ice cream) then to board walk, never saw it last time out, then chill at hotel and see what the night brings.

9/23 MK for RD at 9, have ADR at Kona for 730A I hear the tonga toast is delish, BUT again if I have to snag a taxi I think I'll skip it, then we will chill for the afternoon, back to MK for QS at Cosmic Rays, I hear it's pretty good, good deal for the price of it, then we'll do the elec parade and wishes (great way to spend last night in the world)

9/24 - Epcot for 8A RD, we have ADR for 130p at Le Cellier, and sad face back to the hotel for probably 3ish ... I think ... for Magical Express

So let me know if you guys have tips, like what other resorts have to offer in regard to potential night time fun, things I can do with the kids at DTD or the board walk, at DTD we're skipping Dis Quest, but will do splitzville at some point. Thanks again for your valued input.

Buses may run then to MK

We have the same dates! Even the MNSSHP!

Just wondering if anyone is flying out of st louis on Labor Day 9/2 at 6:10am on Southwest(airtran)? Thought a plane party would be fun.

I just found this thread...my search skills must be lacking :confused3

Anyway, I will be staying at the Yacht Club September 16-23 and I CAN'T wait. I am so excited for another solo journey. :cool1:

1 month from today, we will be in Orlando!!!! We will be at Boardwalk Villas from 9/21 - 9/26 and then hopping a 6am flight to spend the weekend at Disneyland from 9/26 - 9/29 (DH does not know this yet!!!!), I am so excited, I can barely think of anything else!!!!

I think this is the list as we know it.

Pop Century
Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo only)
Yacht Club
Beach Club
Art of Animation
Polynesian
Contemporary
Port Orleans Riverside

So...no ASMo? This is our first trip so not really disappointed but...it's always fun to be the first to try something NEW! We got to do a sneak peak for the Little Mermaid ride and Star Tours renovation in CA/Disneyland a couple years ago and it's just exciting to be "ahead of the crowds."

Either way...our first trip to WDW in just 26 days!!! WOOHOO!!!

Ill be staying at POP September 6th through the 18th!!! So excited and just was notified we are testing the magic bands!!! I get them in the mail today!

We are 17 days out and I am just tickled pink! DH on the other hand is getting sick and tired of all the disney info, trivia, and talking about it(Should I tell him I plan on bringing the Essential Disney cds for the car ride?)

I was originally worried about the heat, but we sort of had a dry run, and went to the NC zoo a week ago, and it was hot and humid(low 90's with close to 95% humidity) We took our Camelbaks and our misting fan, and I kind of think we will be fine, especially since there are a lot more places to go inside at Disney, versus the zoo. I did notice we sweated like crazy and I need to remember to reapply sunscreen. Does anyone recommend any brand they like that isn't too oily, or will come off with the first wipe?

And does anyone else get emotional? I have been sitting down with my daughter, just watching some youtube videos, and just thinking about her first trip and experience it just makes me start crying! My husband is going to tease me like crazy once we get there!

My husband is sick and tired of all the info I throw out there too! He gets more excited the closer we get but it takes him a minute. I have the Disney CDs in my car and he laughs At me when the radio turns on and it's Disney!

I also cry at all the YouTube videos, I like to watch the surprise trip ones makes me cry everytime!

:goodvibes This is totally us! - My favorite Disney CD is the Villains. I bought it last year at DTD and was so happy that it is all the original movie tracks. LOVE IT! Cannot contain the excitement - 19 days!!!!!

Me too, I cry at the surprise trips! We are doing a surprise trip September 17th, I have a feeling I will tear up just telling them at the airport!

I think while my husband might get tired of me and my Disney comments, he smiles and nods, and he has said that he knows that whatever I do will result in a great vacation. My inlaws are the same way, if they have any questions they ask me, and they brag me up to friends and family :rotfl: I'm not telling them my secret source of all my information is here....shhh.....

Arriving in 29 Days & just got my Magic Bands in the mail! Kids are so excited! (Me too!)

The sad part about using military salute tickets is that we don't get Mickey Mail! I kept wondering why it hadn't come yet and then I remembered that the only times we've gotten it where when we did room/ticket packages through WDW. Darn! Oh well....

My DD just about gave me a heart attack tonight. She picked up her work schedule for the next two weeks and told me she was scheduled to work on the first two days of our trip. WHAT??? It turns out that her request to be off work was approved but the manager accidentally scheduled her to work on those days -- entirely accidental and easy to fix...but for a few minutes I was frantically trying to figure out how we were going to make the drive to Orlando and get there on the right day if she had to work those two days. So glad it's a little mix-up and easy to fix and that it wasn't something like her time off request being denied!

Arriving in 26 days! Staying at WL 20th-27th! I cannot contain my excitement... I CAN'T wait!

Still trying to decide about photopass+, and whether to go to Sea World one day?

Joining the party very late, but I'm going September 16-20, with my mom, sister, and my (then) 8.5 month old son. We're going to MK and MNSSHP on the 17th, Epcot on the 18th, DHS the 19th, and (gasp!) Harry Potter World the morning of the 20th before we leave. My sister and her husband live in Orlando, so we're staying with them. Technically this trip was originally to help them move and turned into a mini-vacation instead. My first trip in seven years, so excited!
