When our kids found out we were staying at the DL Hotel, they agreed to come along. It was great, because Brian was heading back to the room around 9, but the kids and I shut down the park at midnight.
I'll do the picture thing next weekend. I am too droopy right now.
DD thinks she got sick from a Wetzel's pretzel in DTD, but I had one and felt fine. I think it was the flu from one of the million people in the park on January 2. I would love to see what attendance was that day. Of course, I had to get into it with a stranger on this trip (it's a tradition, right?) Brian and i stopped to watch the Electrical Parade, and two nitwits stopped right in front of him, even though he was using an ECV. I nicely asked them to move, and they said OK, but didn't move. I asked again, still nothing. I grabbed one by the shoulders, spun her around, facing Brian, and said, "Look, you're blocking my husband's view." They took off running at that point. I don't know if it was from embarrassment because they were so dumb, or if they were afraid of the scary lady going off on them. I felt like this:

People gotta know not to mess with my man!

Finally back! I had 11 straight days off from work, with vacation days, holidays & weekends. It was the best!! But I am back to reality now.

So much good & bad stuff going on. Please pray for Chip tomorrow. His teeth have been rotting from the inside out, part of his condition. He is getting 6 teeth that have broken off at the gum line cut out. He hates needles and is concerned about the pain, which he says is so different from what he is use too. At least his girlfriend is still in town. She will drive him & be there for him. Can't figure out why he doesn't want me over her!

Also found out the last day of school, by accident, that Krista has been in the wrong classroom. No wonder she was busting so many "A's"! She has been self contained instead of inclusion into a regular class. Spent most of the holiday with her working & worrying her emotions over it. she is pretty tense about going to the teachers class that yells a lot! Not like her teacher doesn't have to yell lots due to mostly boys and the inattention that her class has, but Krista is one of her special ones! We will find out how that goes later this week, when the change gets acknowledged by the special ed co-ordinator who has her in the wrong place. Yeah, the one I spent most of July and August bugging to get her moved from that school.

Will read up when I can. Hope all Christmas & New Year's was great!

Happy Wednesday everyone -- so far so good for my resolution eh? Doing laundry BLECH but gotta have clean undies.

Good news for today is double edged sword it has snowed about 8 inches since 6 and it still coming down hard.We live in a townhouse complex where the parking lot is plowed out between 1 and 3 on a as-need-basis. Well today is defiantly gonna be one of those. I was frustrated that on a day i only want to curl up between loads and watch tv i would have to get dressed for the weather. So i pulled on my boots and opened the door .... what the HECK??? my car is gone!!! John already moved it for me, what a sweet man i have for a hubby eh?

Hope everyone else finds some kind of simple blessing today

I just got an email from Meagan's teacher that she refused to read the assigned book in class. UGH! So now she has to bring the book home and read the first 15 pages before tomorrow. That is really not normal behavior on her part, so I am not sure what is up with that.

Brian called me at work today to say he had made reservations for us at a nice restaurant Friday night. He never does that. We are going to see Ron White that night, and Brian said he thought we should make a night of it. What a guy!
