NEW Room Only Code - CFC - Oct, Nov, Dec.

CFC is a general bounceback code. I really hope someone emails the res centers and they go back and verify all these people changing to that code

I am not a bounceback person, but WAS able to just use code CFC on my existing reservation to get more $$ off.

I had booked with a pin that I got in the mail and had 2 nights at CBR for a total of $312.76. I applied the CFC code just now and it is now down to $259.88 including tax for those two nights.

Just wanted to share my experience. I don't know if it is that the CM I worked with didn't know to only let that go to a bounceback or what, but she seems to have NO problem applying it.

Thanks!
Cheryl

What was your pin %?

Really? Why?

I didn't use the code, but I guess I just don't wish ill will on those who did.

so when someone that actually stays on property calls to book a bounceback but cant because someone used a code they shouldnt have its okay?

I actually feel it is okay. If you are on property and reserve the bounceback you will get it. We spent a lot of money to stay at the Poly last year and didn't even know about the bounceback offer since there was nothing in our room about it and we were not told anything about it. We are going again this year but of course don't get the bounceback rate so we are paying much more than we would have. If anyone can get a "deal" at Disney without doing anything illegal, I'm all for it.

If youre on property you may not get the bounceback because they reserve a certain number of rooms for that CFC code. Would you like to be on property trying to book your next stay and all the rooms are booked because a bunch of people not staying on site had a discount applied to their rooms?

I guess that is a chance I would have like to have had. If nothing was available then so be it. If someone wants to go to Disney and get a discount I am not against them doing so. That would be the fault of the CM taking the reservation if they shouldn't have had the discounted rate. We are all in the same boat - going to Disney the least expensive way we can.

And also, I can understand being mildly irritated that people are using a code that might not be appropriate, but to wish someone would email Disney to have all of their reservations cancelled is just - WOW!

I would hope that if someone did email Disney, that the situation would not be handled that way. Those poor disappointed kids waiting to see Mickey!

There are many injustices in the world to be upset about. This just isn't one of them.

I hope all these people applying the bounceback code have their reservations cancelled once disney finds out theyre not on property. The CM's are supposed to verify these things. Keep checking back on your resses, make sure theyre still there

Gosh, I wouldn't hope that for other people!:scared1: If someone calls to apply the code thinking it's a valid code and a CM allows them to, I don't think their reservation should be cancelled. I can see having the code taken off, but cancelled seems a bit harsh.

Maybe cancellation was a bit harsh but I really hope they run a report and change the reservations back to the rate they had before to free the availability for people actually staying on property

Sorry but that's still really harsh. If Disney changes the reservations back to the rack rate and other discounts are no longer available, such as, other codes including AAA, than many of these families would not be able to afford to go. I agree that we all are just looking for an afordable way to get to Disney. The only discount I was able to get was a AAA but fortunately for me I can still afford to go this year. Though it is not looking good for next year. :sad1:

The number of bounceback rooms aren’t limited, except by bookings. In other words, as long as they have a room available at rack rate, it’s available at bounceback. At least that is what multiple CMs have told me.

We were there last year when the bounceback for this year, during the time we are traveling this year. Unfortunately, I could not take advantage of it since we could not determine when we would be able to travel this year. I have not called to see if I could apply this code to my ressie, as I could have last year while on site. I did qualify for it 100%. I am afraid they might go back and remove the discounts since it does violate the spirit of the code, therefore losing me the current discount I have. However, I wish no ill will to those who have gotten it applied. It doesn’t hurt me or anyone else. And maybe some of the people using it, qualified too when it was offered, but also could not pin down travel dates due to work and school.

Then multiple CM's are wrong. In fact if you call the number on the bounceback offer you are talking to a travel trade agent or a grand gathering agent. If you call any other phone number you are talking to a regular cm that doesnt book the bouncebacks. So it does hurt other people

disney.com and where do i enter the code for the hotels only? i don't see it.

i'm trying to book the coronad springs 10/19 and i'm clueless. thanks

Its not a code you can use. You have to be staying on property to book that code, its a bounceback code.

Well, the CMs that told me that are the CMs from the number on the bounceback offer. :confused3

I did call, more than once because we were trying to figure it out last year when we were there. Maybe, just maybe, you are wrong...? Don't know. Don't care. I just think it's nasty to be wishing people ill will. Not my style. I don't wish the uninsured driver with the revoked drivers license harm because he ran a stop sign and totaled my car and sent me to the hospital. I guess I'm not the revenge type. To each their own.

It would be helpful if the CMs were consistent, but sadly they are not and they vary tremendously in what they can/can't do. I called yet again today checking all codes (AP, CFC, DGE, DGL, anything!!), the gal checked all of them, but nothing available for my oct dates. Never said these codes were valid or not. Lastly I asked her to check if there were any PIN codes for our household, and she said sorry that was something she could not do!! Go figure!!

I also was told that the bounceback offer was available on any room at the "select" hotels. You may not get the exact room & exact hotel you want, but you will get a comparable room somewhere. It's not just a few rooms at a few hotels. You may request a specific hotel, say POR, but if that hotel has no rooms available, they will tell you which moderates do have availability. But there is no such thing as a limited number of rooms available on bounceback...the reason they even offer the bounceback deals is because they have sooooo many rooms empty during the times bounceback is offered. Even after the offers expire, there's still rooms available. They just do not book to capacity during these slower times of year...

Bravo for anyone who gets a deal...the more, the merrier. I really don't think someone else having fun detracts from my fun! There is enough magic to go around.

And I can also confirm that CFC is the code listed on the bounceback card...I'm looking at the card that was in our room in May 2008 (looks like a gold pocketwatch.) So, if you were allowed to use it when not at WDW, you were lucky!

Well said, THANK you!! I am not real experienced with this stuff and just thought that if a code could be applied, it was legit for me to use it. I didn't even consider that I would be "taking" a code from someone who was on property. That said, some of these comments about stripping and cancelling reservations really seem inappropriate and nasty.

So thanks again for your comment, makes me feel better!
