Don't know what the name of the ride is but the new train that opened in Dr. Seuss land...don't waste more than 10 minutes waiting for this ride. It is just a train that goes around in the air. Not worth the wait. There are actually two trains, the express pass line has the train go through dr. seuss land outside. the regular line train goes throught the circus restaurant so that you can watch people eat. When the ride was over the both of us just looked at each other like that was the lamest thing we have ever done.

Oh I don't know. I actually liked it. Truth be told, it was one of my favorite rides at IOA ... I liked sitting back and looking around at Seuss Landing and the rest of the park.

Thought it was cute and sweet.

I seriously doubt if it was designed for Mega Coaster (250ft and up) freaks like me, it is for little kids and probably good for views and taking pics as some on here I have seen some really good shots of the park from that train. It is what it is, is it the Mummy? No, but that is not what it is intended to be. It is supposed to be a cute laid back thing, kinda like the CaraSuessel or whatever the merry go round there is called.

How old are you and your friend? somehow I dont think you're the target demographic for the ride

I really am looking forward to this. Although, I do have small children so I know they will enjoy it. Thank you for your insight though. We will be on site so we won't have to wait long. :thumbsup2

That's probably why they put it in Seuss Landing, it's supposed to be a mild mannered ride :yay: . I've never been on it but I saw a video of it on youtube and it looked really cute :dance3: . It's not lame, just mild. :cutie:

It was myself (40) and my son (14). What I was really trying to warn people about is don't wait in a very long line for this ride. If it is a short line, then yes go on it. Also they do post that you are not allowed to take pictures on when on the train.

I hear ya, I always stay onsite so waiting is never an issue for us. I know what ya mean, but they have to design certain rides for little kids too. Its not something that I thought I was going to be able to hold my arms up and scream waaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!! On the way down.

both sides of the Suess Trolley are about a 3 minute ride. DD and the Hulk both come in under 2 1/2 minutes.

I guess it's all relative to how long you want to wait and what type of ride you're looking for.

I think we'll quite like this one - but then we like the TTA in WDW - we like the big headliner rides but soemtimes we need something a bit more sedate, especially when the weather gets hot mid afternoon. We'll get to try it out in 2 days - fly tomorrow but the parks will have closed by the time we get there.

I wouldn't wait longer than 20-30 minutes if you don't have FOTL or if you are looking for a thrill ride

We and our 4 kids (ages 13-16) really liked it. There are two tracks and 4 different stories that are told as you ride. I can only remember three of the stories ( I"m sure that someone else will know the fourth)- The story of the Sneetches--The Echo Machine-- and the ABCs.

I know you aren't supposed to take pictures onthe ride :p but I couldn't resist.

Anyway we really enjoyed this ride , maybe because we enjoyed reading Dr Suess to our children when they were little.

I enjoyed this ride as a "rest".....I wouldn't wait longer than 20-30minutes to ride tho (but, stay onsite, so not an issue).... I enjoyed it and wanted to ride everytime we were in Seuss Landing...dragging DH & DS7 with me :teeth: ..... I'm thinking one of the stories had something to do w/ Green Eggs & Ham??? :confused3 I am in awe of the scenery and forget to pay attention to the story

Is this ride using the overhead track that had been sitting dormant/vacant since the park opened?

Someone on here in another thread really loved this ride, said they rode it over and over again with their kids so some people are going to like it a lot. To each their own.

Yes.. and I am really looking forward to riding it with my dgd in February! I know it's a calm ride but it is sooo cute!

My brother and I always said they should have made it into a ride (When it was just a mailman on a track) so we're kinda excited it finally happened :) Can't wait to ride it!

Not sure how old your children are but there is height restriction for this ride (34"). Our group really enjoyed this ride, so I hope everyone will be able to ride.

The ride is actually called "The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride" and it is adorable!! I only went on it once (the one through the Circus Restaurant), but my mom went on it twice and got to go on both tracks. If you are a big Dr. Seuss fan (like my whole family) you will enjoy it. Especially near the end right before you are about to go back inside, look on both sides of the train at all of the figures. They are all from different stories. (example - one is a laudry line with a bunch of "Dave" shirts on it - if you don't remember that story, then you might not catch onto the rest of them.) Also, I got a great picture of the Incredible Hulk and Dr. Doom's Fear Fall rides while riding this.
